The Deplorable Blue Collars, truckers, farmers, smelly Walmarters & bitter clingers

If everyone votes, and everyone makes good choices when they do, then your vote will mean just as much as someone else's.

And deflecting to Florida to distract from the poor choice you made is weak sauce, bruh.

Own your shitty choices. You'll be better for it. And you'll learn from them.

Because even if I did vote.
It probably wouldn't have gone to Hillary, but to Trump.

Because Trump made promises on illegals.

He hasn't kept.

Now I'd vote against Trump if I lived in a swing state.

You should vote against Trump regardless because you're a human being, aren't you?

Before you answer that question, remember your current circumstances of being confined to your home as the economy crumbles around you.

That's a lot to write in lieu of "yeah, I should take my vote more seriously next time".

That's dumb because the corporate tax rate is still higher than it is in the countries where corporations flee.

So all that tax cut did was expand the deficit and not lead to higher growth or more jobs.

That is only the top marginal rate. The effective rate of 400 of the largest corporations is just 11%.

We went from 1st to 84th which is certainly an improvement. If you don't think that is enough we can cut it some more. The worldwide average is 23% down from 40% in 1980.

Good to see you are concerned about the deficit.

So as you sit in your house right now, you think voting for Trump would have been a good idea in 2016?

Ah, you see.

I knew when Trump was in the primaries that Trump was corrupt, incompetent & divisive & might have killed a lot of people.

I actually thought he was a Democrat plant.

I thought he character assassinated Republicans.

Even so there was a part of me willing to vote Trump.

Because, if he were legit he could really help with illegals & outsourced jobs.

He is a great failure.

That is only the top marginal rate. The effective rate of 400 of the largest corporations is just 11%.

So then there was no need for the tax cut for business, then, since their effective rate was already 11-12%.

So all that tax cut did was kill jobs and expand the deficit.

We went from 1st to 84th which is certainly an improvement. If you don't think that is enough we can cut it some more. The worldwide average is 23% down from 40% in 1980.

But we didn't go from 1st to 84th because you just said that the effective tax rate is 11-12%.

So...what are you talking about?

How did this tax cut make US "more competitive" when after the tax cut, major firms still continued to close plants and outsource, like BMW, Boeing, and Carrier?

Good to see you are concerned about the deficit.

My deficit concern isn't about the deficit, but rather people like you who use the deficit -created by the policies you support- as some sort of political football when you've never, ever been serious about it, and refuse to accept even the most basic of facts and analysis of it.

You sound like the failure here, who sees all that and does nothing to stop it from happening.

You were given warnings that you ignored because you thought it might be cute to vote third party or not vote, because you never thought in a million years that you'd ever have to face real-life consequences because of the choices you made in the voting booth.

So now, as you sit at home you can ask yourself, was it worth it?

I don't think it was, and I don't think you think it was either.

I don't understand what you lose by saying "yeah, I made a bad choice. I'm sorry. I'll do better next time".

Why would you vote for the promises of a known cheat and liar? And btw...pulling children away from their mothers and a drowning baby was not enough of a deterrent to immigration for you?

I knew when Trump was in the primaries that Trump was corrupt, incompetent & divisive & might have killed a lot of people.

So you KNEW but still threw your vote away, anyway.

You KNEW what a threat and danger he was but still threw your vote away, anyway.

And now you're convincing yourself doing so insulates you from guilt or blame because you thought that choice absolved you of both.

Well, it didn't.

84th was using the average tax rate (not effective rate).

"The majority of the 218 separate jurisdictions surveyed for the year 2019 have corporate tax rates below 25 percent and 111 have tax rates between 20 and 30 percent. The average tax rate among the 218 jurisdictions is 22.79 percent. The United States has the 84th highest corporate tax rate with a combined statutory rate of 25.89 percent."

You seem to think the system is fair, it's not because of the Electoral college, the votes go to states, thereby New York doesn't matter.

This idea that Hillary would be so much better is probably bull.

Hillary may have pulled an Amnesty of Illegals.

Which is worse than even Illegals, not only does it help them get more welfare, it encourages more to come in.

My deficit concern isn't about the deficit, but rather people like you who use the deficit -created by the policies you support- as some sort of political football when you've never, ever been serious about it, and refuse to accept even the most basic of facts and analysis of it.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Policies I support would have lower government spending which has increased at a faster rate than revenue. We wouldn't have such a huge debt.

I figured he was a Democrat plant.

Still might be true, actually.

A former Democrat, with past references to touting of healthcare in the UK which is NATIONAL HEALTHCARE,

Who makes Republicans look as foolish, oafish, and obnoxious as possible.

Who has Stimulus bills bigger than Obama's.

Who deports less illegals than Obama.

84th was using the average tax rate (not effective rate).

Which is absolutely unnecessary here since the effective tax rate is what they actually pay and what is "competitive".

So you'll agree that lowering the corporate tax rate was really not intended to make us more competitive, since the effective tax rates were already well below the global average?

I mean, that's what you're saying here, Flash.

How much did the corporate tax rate lower the effective rate? From where to where? If it's less than 2 or 3 percentage points, then the tax cut wasn't intended to make us more competitive, but rather, intended to do something else. What could that something else be? Hmmm. I wonder....

LV426 is big on guilt and blame.

Ah, you see I'd attack the Capitalists who hire the Illegals.

Once a few are behind bars.

The rest will follow suit & be good for awhile.

Without income, most illegals will self deport.

You seem to think the system is fair, it's not because of the Electoral college, the votes go to states, thereby New York doesn't matter.

Of course your vote matters.

Again, I don't know what you lose by saying that you fucked up and will do better next time.
