I think the world wishes they had been advised to self isolate earlier...and had started to stockpile equipment...the US isn't the only country to have been taken by surprise with the severity of this situation....considering the Lies from the Chinese concerning this flu I think our country has done an incredible job of dealing with this...
I must disagree he "has no plans"-there are conferences every day with suggestions and announcements...I do admit I listen more to our governor, because our plans here are specific to our state/localities....

We're pretty much stuck in the apartment. My wife goes downstairs to get the mail each evening. We get our groceries delivered once each week. Our daughter drops in every once in a great while, but we only see the grandkids over the internet. We usually see El Presidente's daily rants, but, of course, there's seldom any useful content in those, mostly self aggrandizement and attacks on actual or potential critics. The sort of thing that his worshippers suck up, but then, they are all suckers.

You should receive a call from your agent. I got one yesterday, she said they have given a 25% discount. I don't know how you pay, I pay twice a year and they also said they would extend the due date, but I don't remember how long. I just paid my premium for the next 6 months so I doubt the extension will affect me.
We have a great deal more freedom here so I understand and sympathize with your frustrations....
I suggest you stop watching the national pressers if they upset you or you don't feel properly informed...

I quit paying insurance years ago- except where legally required to do so. Bunch of parasites, imho- preying on people's insecurities.
Unfortunately here auto insurance is mandated. And you are right -- it's a huge racket.
Everyone in the U.S. who pays health insurance premiums is going to be screaming soon when they see their premiums go through the roof because of the coronavirus. Sure would have been nice to have a Medicare-for-all or other national health insurance in place. But nooo.... freedumb!

Yes, I pay auto insurance, of course. I understand that that's to help protect the innocent from criminal drivers- but anything mandatory attracts crooks.
