Trump Approval Rating Hits All-Time High in New Gallup Poll

President Trump’s approval rating hit an all-time high in a Gallup survey released on Friday, with 49 percent of respondents approving of his performance versus 47 percent disapproving.

The results continue a wide swing in polling for Trump, who garnered a 43 percent approval rating two weeks ago


“Most of the variation in Trump’s recent job approval rating is among independents,” Gallup said. “In the current poll, 47% of independents approve of the job he is doing as president, the highest Gallup has measured for the group to date. 93% of Republicans and 8% of Democrats approve of the job Trump is doing.”

i think we will see this more as people find the economic aspect of covid more important than the public health aspect of covid.

I watched an interview today where the CNN reporter asked a guy who is planning to violate CA stay at home order and open his business "can you guarantee no one will get covid in your store?" What a standard. If that were the standard we were to follow we would lock down for a year.

Polls in May don’t mean much lol.

That said, I expect Trump’s approval rating will go whichever way things go after the country opens up. Except Oregon. The tin pot dictator of a governor wants Oregon to stay locked down till July.

If it goes that long I look for even some lefties to start showing up at the protests. And I figure some Oregonians will just say F* it, and move.

Another thing is the economy. We are in uncharted waters with it. If it rebounds, pretty much at all, that’s going to spell trouble for Democrats in November.
