Good link and good evidence Independents will determine the outcome of the election.

However, RealClearPolitics polling averages place the president at 44.3 percent approval versus 50.6 percent disapproval as of Friday. Averages of general election polls give Trump 42.1 percent to Joe Biden’s 47.4 percent."

I think more and more people are skewing polling on purpose. And...you have to check the sampling on every poll you read. Internet polls are worthless

Exit polling in '16 showed Clinton doing well. I think people were lying in some states. Same for all polls now. I think people purposely lie to create false polling.

Last time the alternative was Hillary. This time the alternative is Biden. I do not see a difference there.

At best, if the Congressional Republicans don't pull their heads out of their asses and start getting the job done right, then the Independents may give them a Democrat President.
 
polls have been all over the place. the other day i saw biden +1 in texas and he's been doing ok in WI and penn

this election is gonna be really close.

totally possible (perhaps even likely) that trump loses popular vote again but wins electoral college

Agreed on close.

The Democrats would collectively shit a mountain of bricks if Trump won the EC over a popular vote. That could start becoming a more common reality if the ratio of cities filling up with people vs Rural America skills too heavily...which is why the EC is there.

Last time, Biden was an idiot. He gave Hillary 'her chance'. Stupid move.

But...nobody knew trump then. They do now. He won't get those Indies that fell for his bullshit last time. Jobs...gone. No health insurance as promised. Quite the contrary. He did exactly what he promised not to...hand billionaires tax cuts.

Remember 'I'm going to raise taxes on the rich...my friends are going to be mad at me'?

Millions of people are chomping at the bit to vote against trump. His only chance is the voter suppression we saw in '18, when Dems still ran the table.
