Welcome to national politics. At least they don't have fist fights in Congress like in Russia and Britain.
But wouldn’t that be fun to watch?

you clearly don't understand basic data science and probability.
By all means, act like a pretentious jester and think you have things figured out by trumpeting for a worthless poll. Maybe you'll flounder like the Dems did. It's only like the 300th+ time we heard the same worthless gloating over an uptick before more inevitable downticks and then more future upticks. Gauging opinions are not a science and until someone gets that they are a dog chasing their tail. None of these polls are even favorable so who are you people kidding? Well, besides yourselves. One would think people would try to downplay unfavorable polls but you Trump supporters have been waving them around like you won the championship. In the end, the number of people involved in a single poll is literally insignificant when gauging the opinion of the American people. So why are simpletons parading these insignificant numbers? Because they are suckers for hype.
LOL. Awesome "Breaking News!", Earl I guess news travels a little slow down there in the holler.

Your name is Earl?
Is your brother named Earl too?
jade - here is the thing, you talk about how the poll is "worthless" but you don't say why. You have no actual argument. I doubt you looked at the methodology or sample size or the polling questions. You didn't do any of that. you just rejected it wholesale because it didn't tell you an answer you liked. This isn't you being intelligent, it's you putting your fingers in your ears.
If you wanted to be smart (like me) you'd actually try to form a coherent argument. then maybe you'd be taken seriously.
For example, if someone were to show me a poll about electoral politics that sampled americans, I would call that particular poll nearly worthless, because a sample of "American adults" skews very liberal (voters in general skew more conservative than the population due to boomers having an absurdly high turnout rate, as well as urban voters - liberals having to deal with much longer lines). A poll of registered voters or likely voters would be much more predictive.
So there are ways to break down polling science, but you have to have some brains to do it. Thankfully, I am one of the smartest poll analyzers on this site, and I use deep level analysis, so if you stick with me this election cycle, you might actually learn something.
Super....then you are the guy to ask.....Can the pollster profession be saved?
Is this election their last chance?
Inquiring minds need to know!
the polls werne't actually wrong in 2016, or at least, not in the way people think they were. For example clinton was predicted to have like a +2pt margin nationally and that's just what she got.
The main error with polling in 2016 was peoples interpretation of the data - that is to say, the data itself was true, but people refused to see the truth in it. THe public at large had a very hard time understanding the high degree of likelyhood of trump having a 30% chance of winning actually meant. Everyone kept saying trump had an absolute zero shot. I am all over JPP saying for months leading up the election that trump had a very good shot to win and I was laughed at, and I argued over and over this point. Many media organizations downplayed his chances of winning to an absurd degree, because they live in echo chambers and couldn't face the reality that was starring them in the face.
I know all about what happened...the polls were low quality, and them who made then said nothing as the so-called journalists misrepresented their work.
Start here if you want to talk to me, I have no time for dim-wits.

im sorry, i don't speak retard. have you tried google translate?![]()

It is the most stark and indisputable failure of leadership in modern history.
