In pretty much any civilized nation anywhere the two genetic defectives involved in this shooting would be in jail awaiting trial. In a case strikingly similar to the Zimmerman case a young man jogging was confronted, shot and killed by these two Bubbas.

There’s even a cell phone recording of the killing. What has many outraged is why aren’t the McMichael father and son in jail waiting trial for murder. I would also like to know how the he’ll anyone could argue a stand your ground case or even self defense when it’s obvious that the six toed duo were the aggressors here?

It also makes me wonder if McMichael Jr. will replace Zimmerman as Grinds new stud muffin?

The runner crosses the road to pass the pickup on the passenger side, then crosses back in front of the truck. A gunshot sounds, and the video shows the runner grappling with a man in the street over what appears to be a shotgun or rifle. A second shot can be heard, and the runner can be seen punching the man. A third shot is fired at point-blank range. The runner staggers a few feet and falls face down".

The defenders of the attacker have no evidence to indicate that the deceased was killed unlawfully.

There's also no evidence that the deceased took a "daily jog" as his mother claims.

The shooting occurred Feb. 23, and self-defense is not a crime in Georgia. A grand jury will make a decision based on evidence, not emotion.

16-3-21:

A person is justified in threatening or using force against another when and to the extent that he or she reasonably believes that such threat or force is necessary too defend himself or herself or a third person against such other's imminent use of unlawful force.

except as provided in Code Section 16-3-23 , a person is justified in using force which is intended or likely to cause death or great bodily harm only if he or she reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent death or great bodily injury to himself or herself or a third person or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.

(d) In a prosecution for murder or manslaughter, if a defendant raises as a defense a justification provided by subsection (a) of this Code section, the defendant, in order to establish the defendant's reasonable belief that the use of force or deadly force was immediately necessary, may be permitted to offer:

(1) Relevant evidence that the defendant had been the victim of acts of family violence or child abuse committed by the deceased, as such acts are described in Code Sections 19-13-1 and 19-15-1 , respectively; and

(2) Relevant expert testimony regarding the condition of the mind of the defendant at the time of the offense, including those relevant facts and circumstances relating to the family violence or child abuse that are the bases of the expert's opinion.

I'm not going to debate the merits of that case, there is no point. I think had they charged Zimmerman with manslaughter they might have had a chance, but that's a digression. My point is that if there was video in that case, it would have been much easier to determine what happened. In this case, the video leaves little doubt as to who is telling the truth.

Gregory McMichael told police that he and his adult son thought the runner matched the description of someone caught on a security camera committing a recent break-in in the neighborhood. They armed themselves with guns before getting in a truck to pursue him.

The father said his son, Travis McMichael, got out of the truck holding a shotgun, and Arbery "began to violently attack." He said Arbery was shot as the two men fought over the shotgun, according to the police report.

After Arbery was shot, the police report says, Gregory McMichael turned him onto his back to see if he was armed. The report doesn't say whether he had a weapon".
