Obama had very little track record, he was a complete roll of the dice.....but he said the right things.....and he was fresh....there was reason to hope that he was not a Swamp Creature.

Obama's two main problems are that he is no where near as smart as he seems to think he is....and he is an extremely light worker.

You really want to know why the rich hold so much power? Because they deserve to thats why. Kinda sorta. Heres why,....when you have a nation made up mostly of fucking idiots thats exactly what you end up with. THIS is OUR fault. We allowed it to happen because we are far too stupid and lazy to think for ourselves so we ceded over control of our own lives to others.

And NO,...I do not agree that the rich should have so much power. But we did in fact allow it to happen. For many reasons, none of them very good. WE did this by being weak. Our ancestors would be ashamed at what we have allowed.

And had been all his life. If you were paying attention, and few were, you knew it before he was elected.

I have already told you when I figured it out.

I dispute your assertion that we had enough insight into Obama to know that he had been lying to us wholesale, that he never intended to do what he said he would, that there was no chance that he would rise to the occasion.

A lot more complicated than that. He walked into a potential 2nd great depression he had to fix quickly. He allowed the bankers and banks to survive because he was convinced they could save the economy if he forced them to. It was a battle. You can argue he conceded too much, but he got the job done.
