They have been moving in this direction for a while but why drop the hammer now??

trump said they will pull that most favored trade status w/ Hong Kong..

If he isn't bluffing & does it w/out exceptions that is gonna be a real kick in the nuts to the CCP.......

IMHO they will survive but a lot of money is gonna be lost.........

The Hong Kong protests started in June of last year over a new Extradition Law.

The new "National Security" law is designed to stop protesters and abolish freedom of thought.

If trump pulls the status that will have huge consequences on not only the ppl there, but the CCP members as well.....

It is the one year anniversary of the protests, Bill.

The National Security Law allows foreigners to be arrested and imprisoned for life ... for thought crimes. No one is safe in Hong Kong. That in itself, will kill their economy.

China needs to be kicked out of the WTO just based on its humanitarian violations. And now, they purposefully released a plague on the world. :palm:

Yes, President Biden agreed to the new security law in Hong Kong and the concentration camps for Muslim Chinese in return for soybean sales... No, not President Biden, the guy who is actually president now... The orange one agreed to allow any civil rights violations in China for soybean sales.

I know all of that..... Anyway, thanks for your opinion.........

They should have never allowed them in..... Faulty assumptions & distractions kept many of them from noticing what was happening after they allowed them in........

IMHO it is to late to kick them out........ Hell they never played by anything but their own rules most of the time & now they are going to overtake the USA/West as the leading economic power...

They are creating their own world order now...........

USA needs to act against hong kong status.....

Penalizing ccp cadres for the Muslim concentration camps is meaningless........... You see any Muslim countries bitching about it??

NO!!

They are going for the money & don't mind sacrificing a million of their own faith to cash in.......

That area is considered by most Muslims as East Turkistan, even Turkistan keeps their mouth shut about it & sucks the BRI hook, line & sinker.........
