Trump cheated on his SAT by paying someone to take it for him, according to Mary Trum

Agreed on most points. If the Democrats offered anyone better, I'm sure many Republicans would flip, but since Biden is the best the DNC has to offer, I think most Republicans will vote for the "R", not the "D".....or stay home.

I can understand being a hyperpartisan Republican who feels they have no choice but to go in the voting booth and checking the R box to prevent the tentacles of Kenyan Marxism from taking root.

But this goes beyond that. There are Republicans who spend countless precious hours of their lives defending Trump on mesage boards with every fiber of their being.

That kind of dedication and fealty is only given to a beloved politician.

Betsy DeVos has become accustomed to hostile audiences. The House of Representatives’ education committee earlier this month was no exception.

“When you approach a public school, you are protested,” the Democratic congresswoman Frederica Wilson told the education secretary. “When you enter, you are booed. You are the most unpopular person in our government. Millions will register to vote in 2020. Many will vote to remove you more than to remove the president.”

It was a rare moment of clarity in the constant swirl of drama in Washington – border wall, Russia, partisan warfare, media bashing, tweets, impeachment – that seems to provide cover for Donald Trump’s cabinet secretaries to escape scrutiny. Chief among them is DeVos who, critics say, is quietly and insidiously destroying public education in America.

DeVos’s record is proof, they argue, that when the smoke of the Trump presidency finally clears, the substance of his legacy on policy, deregulation and stacking the courts will remain – and take far longer to repair.

“We’ve had plenty of Republican as well as Democratic secretaries of education but none of them, even those who believed in alternatives to public education, actually tried to eviscerate public education,” said Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers. “Here is someone who in her first budget tried to eliminate every single summer school programme, every single after-school programme, and who has done everything in her power to try to make it harder for us to strengthen public [sector] schools.”

It's not just a matter of who is the "President" but the platform behind them. Do you really think every person who voted for Hillary liked her and worshiped the ground she walked upon? Are you denying there were Democrats who hated her but voted for her anyway rather than for Trump or staying home and letting Trump win? Yes, there are diehard nutjobs who support Trump, but not everyone who votes for Trump is voting for him.

This is the #1 hazard of a Two-Party System: when both parties offer up idiots for office.

I've given up on voting for the "Lesser of Two Evils" and will vote Libertarian unless it's Pence on the ticket.

I am not "beloved" of Trump.
He has a lot of character flaws; but I'm also not STUPID ENOUGH to not vote for his superior policies

The economy was phenomenal- and the fundemenatals were so good it's clear we are not going into a recession
( a possibility that is not happening )

Wwage gains were skewed to lower earners (breaking a long term trend)

He wants us out of AfPak,and he hasn't pulled bonehead wars like Libya/Iraq.
He recognizes China IS rthe existential threat ( espionage/hegemony/malign trade and IP theft

I could go on and on, but that right there is more then enough to put up with his tweets in return for America First
policies

Biden wants to raise taxes, and is notoriously soft on China

I'm surprised you're not more au courant on De Vos. Or maybe you are, but support what she's trying to do.
You'll have to fill me in what she's "trying to do"..according to you..... I'm mostly "au courant" with our local system....as I've always been;)

Teacher at Wharton said Trump was one of the dumbest students he’d ever taught. How exactly do you get away with having someone take your SAT?

No one cares shit-for-brains. If we assembled the collective IQ of the left it would fit in a thimble. :palm:
