Actually the law reads, and correctly, " all necessary force to compel compliance". What some people might consider excessive is just an escalation of force because they do not comply. In this case though it was definitely excessive.

Interesting. The store owner said in the transcript that Floyd was "f****d up" and that he was sweating profusely.
The heart attack was probably starting at that time which was why when Floyd was walking & standing with the cops
a few minutes later he kept saying, "I can't breathe, I can't breathe."

The problem is the prosecution has the burden of proving that Chauvin killed Floyd or at least was criminally negligent in his death.

They will have a very hard time with that, imo.

The problem is the prosecution has the burden of proving that Chauvin killed Floyd or at least was criminally negligent in his death.

They will now for sure. If only everyone had waited for this information instead of going off based on a video. Common sense is very uncommon in today's society.

But you’d think they could find a better example if police brutality was as rampant as the narrative claims lol. This one has holes you could drive a truck through.

What’s the remedy? Being more aware of what to do when a person becomes unresponsive? More CPR training for cops? For all they knew Floyd could have been drunk and passed out. It’s easy to second guess them after all the facts are in hand.

This is a first rate cluster F*.
