No Republican candidate has ever even considered a black running mate, much less a black woman.

And let’s be honest, as Republicans we aren’t going to like any VP candidate Biden picks because they are Democrats. It’s not like we would be celebrating if he picked Amy Kuchobar or Mark Warner.
Biden’s key to victory is getting minority and specifically young minority voters to the polls like Obama did. If he thinks it takes a black woman as VP to do that that’s who he’s going to choose because right now Democrats have concern over that group’s enthusiasm for him.
