IMO, it's like abortion: People who don't believe it shouldn't use it, but those who do should do so. Same with HCQ, but that still doesn't explain why Trump hasn't used his Executive powers and the Republicans their legislative powers to make this available.

Because they'd get the gubmint sued under federal tort claims act when anyone dies. They'd have no qualified expert evidence on their side to present as a defense.
That's also why there are not executive orders for any other arbitrary non indicated use for any other substance.

The question is why should Trump need to do an EO on it? Why are some [democrat] governors interfering with the doctor/patient relationship over an inexpensive and readily available drug that may save lives?

I thought every COVID death mattered. Why do I get the idea your TDS is keeping you from coming down on the *correct* side of this?
