I think there is a good argument to be made for that. A debate with Trump is like a debate on JPP. Without an incredibly strong moderator, Trump will just use the forum to throw temper tantrums and toss red meat to his base. If there is no platform, there are no issues to debate. I still think the benefit is in the contrast between a con man and empathetic leader. But she's not wrong.
