Doubtful. More likely is that General Kelly will step forward and defend himself against Trump's lies about him.

Another possibility is that, like finding one weed in your yard indicates there are more, Trump has made similar statements other than those already seen by everyone.

Trump's dislike of the US military is well known. Trump being Trump, he didn't hide that dislike until he started losing the election.

Agreed on both. The reason the Trumpeteers are confused is because Bolton gave another reason why Trump cancelled his trip. Weather was, indeed, a factor, but Trump, like Presidents before him, could have made the trip by car. It's not like the United States never heard of a weather forecast; those tasked with operations knew weather could be a problem and, if directed to do so, would have a contingency plan in place. Trump didn't want to go so no contingency plan was used.
