You are incorrect. People with no symptoms could be asymptomatic, or pre-symptomatic. Your assumption that they will never show symptoms is a wrong assumption.

It appears people have the highest viral load right before symptoms show themselves. This means they have no symptoms to trace at the time of transmission, but can be traced after the fact.
 
I give this statement from Fauci a 97% chance of being a lie, that he is claiming to know something that he does not that it is either numbers from his gut or complete fabrications. This guy is such an asshole that I would not want to assume which it is.

So we could either believe you, or just about every expert? If we believe you, and you are wrong, we are in deep trouble. If we believe all the experts, and they are wrong, we have lost little.

I live in a universe with 200k Americans dead from Covid-19, a worldwide depression, and an America quarantined from the rest of the world. In short, you are right, we live in alternate universes. The problem here is my universe is the real one.

The meta answer is hard work. Clearly Biden is willing to put in the hard work. That does not mean a miracle cure. This might take years to completely win against. Actually, it might take decades(unlikely, but possible)... But however long it takes putting off the hard work is not going to make it faster.
