She got 3 million more votes. Trump got in through pure luck. The electoral; college fell just right to make Trump the accidental president.

A lot of German history illiterates in this discussion. Hitler a leftist? He was just like Trump in being outside those labels. He was a crowd raising speaker, a pride invoking charlatan, and a nationalist. He was anti-politically correct and fueled the Germans against the Jewish/German citizens after a nationwide downturn. It was all their fault. Where have I seen that before recently? Surely not from it's everybody's fault except Trump. You could interchange make America great with Germany basically. As a tiny, fringe party in 1920s Germany, the Nazi Party used the lexicon Nationalist Socialist in a cynical attempt to appeal to both right wing nationalists and left wing socialists to gain electoral support.

German socialists, communists, and liberals were rounded up, sent to concentration camps, executed, and oppressed. Hitler might be the biggest mass murderer of socialists in human history.
Private industry and capitalism continued to flourish in Nazi Germany, with the benefit of the state being privileged over a lassaize faire market posture. Nazi Germany practised a form of state capitalism, but Nazi capitalism does not represent the capitalism practiced in the western liberal democracies.
Nazi Germany was a corruption of capitalism in the way Leninism was a corruption of Marx. Marx wasn't around to defend himself in 1925, and he never advocated for despotic government or state sponsored terror - which was exactly the standard practice of Soviet communists.
