Trump receives experimental antibody treatment

LOL. I'd call it "hopeful" on his part. The reality is, the President walked to the helicopter without aid and doesn't appear to be in quite as dire straits as Nordberg seems to wishfully believe.

The only thing that would concern me about it would be if he was having shortness of breath at such an early stage. That they decided to admit him to Walter Reed, not so much.

Also, I know absolutely nothing about the new treatment but it’s possible they want him already in the hospital if he starts having some severe side effect from it.

Basically, all anyone can do is speculate about it at this point. Honestly, I worry about him—I don’t have a good feeling about this.

Kinda odd the president of the US taking experimental stuff. Am I the only one that thinks that?

That's kinda gambling a lot.

As mentioned, there’s nothing experimental about antibody treatments, per se.

But this IS some sort of novel cocktail still in the experimental phase. I guess they know what they’re doing. I’m inclined to think he’s in a Walter Reed to be monitored on account of that.

Severe anaphylaxis can go south within minutes, for example.

I got the antibodies part lol.Idk, it’s just a gut feeling. Maybe it’s a 2020 thing.
I hear that.
so now we know why HCQ is not in the mix as well -the polyclonal cocktail is intended to stop the early viral loading
before the body can produce it's own antibodies -

I would think they’d want to stay ahead of the cascade but who knows.
well the polyclonal is supposed to do that - the link I gave shows excellent results.

Steroids lose there effectiveness if given over a long period of time -my best guess is they will use them if the situation deteriorate

If he says it is for him...it is.

Not necessarily. There's a difference between Trump signing an EO that everyone can inject disinfectant into their bodies and doctors actually signing off on needles so people can do it. Doctors have an oath to do no harm. You and I both know that, for a shitpot full of money, some doctors will give the payer whatever drugs they want, but even that has to be justified.

In short, I strongly doubt even Trump can order a doctor to give an experimental drug. There are also national security issues. Even if a doctor is found, the Secret Service and Congress would want a plan in place in case Trump suddenly collapsed from the effect of the drug.

OMFG
antibodies are not "experimental" for the 19,000th time..they are fully human/
the manufacturing process is new -they are isolated from plasma and cloned

REGN-COV2 is experimental. What do they use in Russia, comrade dukkha?

Whatever it is, it's costing the taxpayer way too much to treat a tax cheating sociopathic grifter. He is so absurdly unworthy.

Be that as it may, he's still POTUS and it becomes a national security issue.

gawd damn you are dumb.
It's using the latest therapies in order (the monoclonal) to try and beat back the viral loading before it gets worse

Then put me on ignore, comrade dukkha.

REGN-COV2 is experimental. Yes, it's had good results, but it's still experimental. If it was so great and fine to use, why aren't Hope, Melania and Kellyanne each getting an assfull of this miracle drug along with massive doses of HCQ?

True. It's all speculation. In large part because trump has to hide his health status from the public.

Covid tends to settle in the lungs. As the body fights infected lung cells, it creates serious pulmonary issues.

There's absolutely nothing extraordinary about a POTUS going to WRH. trump never admits to being human, so we're making a big thing about this event. If staff would release basic information to the public, there would be little to speculate about.

Once again, trump needs to alter the news cycle in order to stop everyone from discussing his crimes.

A president being *admitted* to WR is newsworthy.

Hardly surprises me you’re going the conspiracy route.
