Tweet of the Day, maybe the Decade

Back in the day they were the backbone of the party, not as much anymore.

It's crazy how things have changed. The Left used to want to ban third world immigration, while the Right openly talked about how Capitalism needs open borders.
Today both wings of the establishment want Globalism, but the Right is quiet about it, and the Left brags about it.

StonebyStone votes Democrat.

I don't know how she votes but from her posts she sides mostly with the left. Doesn't matter; giving a voice and presence to one group of people doesn't indicate hostility to others. It's kind of silly, actually, to declare that a group of white ppl who are inclusive of POC are hostile to their own race.

Well, it's a little bit of both. We do have a lot of people in this country that have mental problems and shouldn't be allowed to vote. But yes, I also agree that the Democrats need to stop playing it safe with these Moderates and actually get behind Social Democrats like Bernie. Those are the candidates that have the enthusiasm.

Yes, and they're the ones who will get the votes down-ticket as well, and give us a chance to move into the future and have nice things like other countries have.

I tend to agree with you. Just pointing out StonebyStone is a lefty.

I missed that in the democrat platform...

Do they not regularly talk about "White Privilege" and say they're going to put people into power based on race? Biden said he'd put a black woman on the SCOTUS. And they want open borders, which hurts all of the working-class, but they also want to keep affirmative action, which hurts Whites.

So the answer is no, they did not support incompetent leaders like Dumbya and Palin.

As to Iraq, Biden said years ago it was a mistake.

Trump just lies about supposedly being against it. Lying about your support for the Iraq war is worse than confessing it was a mistake.

You would also be amazed at how many conservative message board posters lie about never being cheerleaders of the Iraq war

Totally ignoring the other part of your post about the Iraq war. You know, the one Biden and HRC voted for. As well as Schumer and others still in office. Fucking pathetic Cypress.

I do love nice things.

If Biden wins, there is a good chance that the Overton Window will shift towards Social Democracy, like it did under Obama.

True, but one of those problems is the Democrats ignoring the white working-class.

I admit the party needs more Sherrod Browns, but Obamacare, CHIPs, Family Emergency Leave Medical Act, auto company bailouts, 2009 stimulus bill were all intended to benefit working Americans.

Republicans only claim to fame is relentlessly passing tax cuts that overwhelmingly benefit the investor class. I cannot think of any major legislative initiatives Republicans have passed in my lifetime which was explicitly intended to benefit working stiffs.

When it comes to the working-class, there's no question that Democrats are better than Republicans. However, when it comes to issues that specifically affect the white working-class, the Republicans are better.
All in all, I would still say the Democrats are the better choice, but the fact that they come across as anti-white is why so many people voted for a mentally challenged criminal Fascist like Trump.

He banned the teaching of Critical Race Theory in federally funded institutions. Meanwhile, the Democrats are openly hostile to white people.

You really need to get off that high-horse. Not only are most of us Dems I know here white, but so are the Democrat politicians in Washington. You sound like many a white supremacist with lines like that. That's what we are hostile against and it's not racial either. It's behavioral. I mean, who wouldn't be against a form of group douchebaggery unless they are a group member? I'm against group douchebaggery in all it's forms despite race or subject.

So what? A person can absolutely support policies that hurt groups which they're a part of. Look how many poor people vote Republican. And yeah, I'm sure many of these white Democrats aren't outright racist against Whites, but they still support policies which hurt Whites, such as affirmative action and the teaching of CRT.

By definition, you can't be racist about your own race. It is not possible to feel your race is superior to your own race. Affirmative action doesn't hurt whites, it's an equalizer to old fashion trends of companies only wanting to hire white males. It helps white woman out quite a bit just as it does blacks.

There have been black Neo-Nazis who hate black people. It is 100% possible to be racist against groups that you belong to.
Trump pretends to be a White Supremacist in order to get support from the Alt-Right and he has non-white support. There are female Republicans fighting against women's rights. Your background does not determine who you hate or who you're willing to discriminate against.

Affirmative action forces people to hire people based on race, specifically people who aren't white. Saying it's also sexist is beside the point.

How is a White Working Class any different that any other Working Class? You’d think if you working and not sponging off the Government Tit, you have a Fan in Republicans. You can’t exactly ignore a Working Class if they’re already working in both campaigns.

I’m more surprised at people in Florida actually believed the bull shit that Biden is a Socialist ... really, have they been awake for the last 35 years? Can’t they See and Think on their own without a Con Man telling them what to See and Think?

Whether you are for it or against it, at Universities affirmative action does hurt Asians.

Prop 16 was on the ballot in California to bring back racial preferences and it lost by a decent margin. And this is a state that Biden won by over 30%.

You can find strong intellectual arguments in the black community against AA. Not saying it's the majority but they're out there.

There are certain issues that affect the working-class as a whole, then there are certain issues that really just affect the white working-class.
And don't get me wrong, I don't think Republicans give a shit about anyone who isn't rich, regardless of race. But when the Democrats are openly anti-white, it makes the Republicans look more sympathetic.

Especially since they already tried saying Obama is a Socialist and that turned out to be bullshit.

It is the exact same people who thought the Iraq War was an awesome idea, and that George Dumbya Bush and Sarah Palin were titans among leaders
Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton.
My thoughts exactly.

Biden, Clinton plus Feinstein, Kerry*, Schumer and most Democrat Senators.

*Remember "I was for it before I was against it?"

By whose definition? https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/racism

Note that the superiority thing is only one definition. Disagreed AA.
