New Republican Senator thinks US liberated France from the communists

This is like something a fictional character would say in a movie to satirize how ignorant Americans are.

Coach Nick Saban of the Alabama Crimson Tide should end every press conference with "And Thank You to all the US service personnel who liberated Paris from the Nazis!"

didn't Roosevelt have the same concerns.....the Yalta conference was a balancing of powers........eastern Europe was surrendered to keep Stalin from moving farther west......

Yes, they are when it comes to representation in the electoral college.
Why does California have 55 votes but Texas only has 38 and Florida only 29? Isn't the apportionment based upon population?

How stupid can a Republican Senator be and still be a Senator? First, elect a college football coach....from Alabama then elect him Senator.

As the Alabamians are finding out, "We get the government we deserve".

Tommy Tuberville may have gotten an “A” from Alabama voters Tuesday night, but likely earned an “F” from history teachers.

After easily defeating Doug Jones to become Alabama’s next U.S. Senator, Tuberville was addressing supporters in Montgomery and discussing his father – an American G.I. who landed at Normandy and fought in France.

Tuberville described how his father was a part of “liberating Paris from socialism and communism.

Americans liberated France from German Nazis – facists, not socialists, nor communists.

It wasn’t his first “historic” gaffe. During the campaign, Jones criticized Tuberville for not knowing what the Voting Rights Act was.

Tuberville, a former Auburn head football coach, defeated Jones with 60.4-percent of the vote.

I bet every Democrat politician was nodding in agreement.

Does this mean you agree that Senator-elect Tuberville was correct about US GIs liberating Paris from Russia, our ally in the war?

Nazi = National Socialist party

If Trump had won he would have nationalized "social media" and called it......wait for it.....the National Socialization Act.

Looks like the Tech Lords will rule for another four years.

LOL!

Remember when voters expected more from their elected representatives? Like that maybe they should be a bit smarter, more educated, better informed, etc. than the average Joe Schmoe? Some of us still do, but apparently not the knuckledraggers. lol

No. I still remember Hank Johnson...

Nothing will ever surprise me after that one.
