If democrats abolish the Electoral College republicans would never win the WH

EC is set up like Congress in terms of amount of electors. That makes enormous sense to begin with.
also YUGE populous states of CA are limited from overwhelming the popular vote by proportional electors instread

Overwhelming the popular votes with votes?

Dont you realize how massively stupid that is

It would require a constitutional amendment to get rid of the electoral college, but if democrats can pull it off or inact some measure or proposal to lesson it’s useless impediment to real democracy, republicans would never win the White House.

Ignore republican whining because they believe that winning by getting the most votes is cheating.

Without the EC this election would have been indisputably over long ago. Donald Trump himself is the poster child for abolishing the EC. Lots of proposals on how to get it done.

Yea then we can have fair and honest elections like Russia, Cuba, Venezuela. What a great fucking idea!

Every study done has proven the republicans lie about voters cheating

The USA courts have proven republicans have cheated in elections for decades

Why do your assholes keep losing the popular vote yet get to be president

It’s called cheating

Republicans hate the voters

They lie about the American voters

They always claim the American voters cheat republicans

They work to keep legal voters from voting (USA court documented)

They hate the voters if they live in states with lots of other voters

They that makes those American voters only a fraction of a person(3/5ths?)

They have hated democracy for decades

Do you think a government continually dominated by one party would be an improvement? The problems with the electoral college are less a problem than one-party government; although a divided government wouldn't be bad.

I hope you can find solace in that, but I’m more interested in this from the “Uber liberal electorate.”

California 2020 results

Biden 63.5%
Trump 34.3%

Split and crossover votes are not new unless your claim is that Cali voters are clamoring for right wing policies.

No, I don't have any solice in that. I honestly don't care how CA votes. It just appears CA voters have grown weary of uber liberal policies in their state - overwhelmingly. I find it to be a paradox they vote in pols that are very liberal but when it comes to statewide propositions they seemingly vote far right. Propositions the politicians they vote for support. Oh well. That's California. Bipolar.

it's why we have an electoral college.......to keep a tiny handful of overpopulated states from imposing themselves on the entire country.......

Nope. it was about slavery. So you think a tyranny of the minority is preferable? Don't like the basic concept of majority rules , do you?

And THEY, not democrats, not socialists, not anyone else but THEM will resort to VIOLENCE if they don’t get their way.

On that point, we agree. Thanks for the clarity.

you're stupid enough to believe it was about slavery......if so why did New Hampshire and Connecticut insist on it to curb the power of Virginia?.....
