In a weird way, they do care about a Constitution. That is, the impressionistic one that sits in place of the real one and that exists in the minds of the cult.
Their constitution only needs to be wafted about, not read, and it contains thoughts like "god's will," "western European heritage" and "personal right to guns."
And it has an amazing pliable character such that rules of logic that would require similar application to similar facts yield similar results, do not.
it requires only an understanding of their ends to be achieved and presto, that's what it does.

I guess you could look at it that way, but when a person cares about something without actually understanding it or cares about it with intentionally false intentions, then I'm not sure that I'd call that care for the thing. It's only care for their ends, which allows them to be willfully dishonest. It's just like they "care" about science in the sense that they claim that masks spread COVID and social distancing is ineffective. They "care" about the democratic republic, but they don't want the democracy. They "care" about accuracy in the media, but they read the most batshit content on the internet and then spread conspiracy theories so impossibly bizarre and provably false that I swear I'm talking to barefoot schizophrenics on a street corner. Rights have to be restricted in order to secure the rights of all. You have a right to free movement, but we have trespass laws because your selfish ass would trample my garden if we didn't restrict your right.
