A ROOM TEMPERATURE SUPER CONDUCTER WILL BE THE "GAME CHANGER"....
That's odd. I'm getting a 10% credit on my bill for using solar. Go figure.
Solyndra also had a prototype for a much more efficient solar design. Unfortunately, it was being developed in America with an administration in office that was wholly owned by big oil. By the time the funding was in place to match the millions in private sector money, Arizona had sold out to China and became a manufacturer of cheap Chinese solar.
Flooding the market with less efficient panels killed Solyndra's chances.
Thankfully, the above referenced technology is NOT being developed in America.

What state has the most solar in use?
What state has the highest per kilowatt-hour cost in the US?
bologna university? come on people....
I have a new company, Ponzi Solar I call it. give me money now.
If you got a 99% efficient PV solar panel at zero cost, it wouldn't be cost effective as a generation source compared to nuclear or natural gas. That's how inefficient and poor solar is as a means to produce electricity. The simple fact is that the watt-density of sunlight is too low and you spend most of the day below maximum efficiency or not producing power at all to make solar viable and competitive.
That's why everywhere solar has been heavily invested in has the highest kilowatt-hour cost on the planet.
And it cost you how much to install? Here's your sign.
Unless "your solar" is 110% efficient, you fail.
Live in CA do ya?
How much was your bill last month? Hmm?
Who cares? What state has the most solar in use?

Damn...it's history Bud. Read up.Linky?
I didn't install anything. It so happens that my buddy leased land to a solar company less than a mile from my house. He gets $60k/year in rent, and I get a discount because my energy comes from his solar farm. There are solar farms popping up everywhere in the county. And it cost you how much to install? The proof falls on the person saying that something was done to prove that it was. So let's see the proof....

You should because if you live there your electric bill is roughly triple what it would be in states that don't heavily invest in solar and wind...
