Oath Keepers CEO Stewart Rhodes

Any junior U.S. Attorney could simply pick out one of the sixteen already filed criminal complaints alleging conspiracy (18 U.S.C. 371) against Stewart Rhodes’s underlings, simply swap out “Person 1” with “Stewart Rhodes,” and secure the single easiest indictment in modern American history.

One would think there should be a phalanx of angry U.S. Attorneys all pining for the career prize of being the one who took down Stewart Rhodes.

But therein lies the bind: if Stewart Rhodes (as we strongly suspect) is a federal operative, or was in communication with federal operatives, or was under the surveillance of Feds, the entire artifice of 1/6 lies comes crumbling down.

They need Stewart Rhodes’s communications if they really want to figure out what happened on 1/6, but if those communications become part of the Discovery Production of the trial case, and Stewart Rhodes was in communications with Federal assets, then it’s game over for the Justice Department.

They look ridiculous if they don’t prosecute Stewart Rhodes, but if they do, and he’s a Fed, then he has leverage to squeal on them.

____________

Since it’s under reported or not reported at all by our useless media, one has to go to third tier outlets for some investigative reporting on Stewart Rhodes, the alleged head conspirator in 1/6. Aka Person Number One in the charging documents.

It’s curious why Rhodes walks around free when the feds busted a literal grandma this week for her ‘role’ in the Great Insurrection and this piece raises some interesting questions in that regard. It’s also claimed that Rhodes escaped being charged in the Clive Bundy affair under Obama.

Odd coincidence, that.

Where would the world of baseless conspiracy theories be without "third tier outlets"? We've always had them in one form or another. Half baked pamphlets were all the rage in the 19th Century, their nonsense gobbled up by its crop of paranoids. You could have learned that Lincoln's mother was a monkey. This claim about one radical, even in the extremely unlikely case what he is said to have done is true melts away in the massive volume of mob crazed evidence, more of which seems to get published every week. The story will fade out. When it does a new dream will pop up in these "third tier outlets" and take its place.

You enjoy *trying* to make me look bad so why don’t you take a stab at some of the questions raised by the Revolver piece lol.

Your lefty buddies are flailing and could use some help.
No one makes you look bad, 61, you manage that all by yourself and your blind devotion to Trump and foolishness.

It's your OP, Opie. <---see what I did there? LOL

If I started a thread about "masks don't work", citing some fucking dumbass blog for "evidence" and spin, then said "thoughts?" Would you think I was advocating "masks don't work" or not? What if I defended that same dumbass blog every time someone pointed out errors? "Thoughts?"

Blog or no blog, Rhodes is running free.

Why? I thought you wanted all of them rounded up so they can get Trump for the Grand Conspiracy. Well, the Big Guy in the insurrection is out playing golf or whatever while some Capitol trespassers sit in solitary confinement. He even has all of the red meat [read the article] if you want your dream of nailing Trump to come true.

Yet, here you sit.

it makes sense if he was an FBI confidential informant. I dont know enough to say he is but the pieces fit

If he is, he is in a very bad spot because it would get some people out of a jam if he ‘committed suicide’. That way, they wouldn’t have to worry about charging him.

It DID NOT TAKE 4 YEARS ... It LASTED four years ... the dims rode that pony for all it was worth.

It was worth quite a bit, wasn't it? But Republicans then weren't the "party first, country second" group they are today and they too turned against Nixon.

Why isn’t Rhodes a household name?

He was the leader of the Great Insurrection of 1/6 and since it’s comparable to Pearl Harbor, 9/11 and WWII why isn’t this guy talked about more?

Few Americans are far-right insurrectionist insiders like you are. We know about the Proud Bois and other anti-American groups. The investigation will give him the press he begs for.

No shit, Opie. Was he at the Insurrection? My understanding is he wasn't. What should he be arrested for? Being a delusional dumbass? If that was a crime, you'd be leading the perp walk to Federal prison.

ROFLMAO.....and that's how conspiracy theories work: You start a rumor so that the targeted organization kills themselves out of fear and paranoia.

Your work for the ATF is appreciated, Opie!

Opie is no "insider". Like all of the loudest JPP RWNJs, he's just all talk. They are simply playing Tucker or Sean on JPP. It's a game. Not to be taken seriously because all of those dumbasses are cowards. Keyboard Kommandos who won't risk prison.

Traitor Repuke. Nixon fought that justice pony for those years. He should have simply resigned because he order a breaking of DNC headquarters.

But you don't believe in honesty or justice do you. Dats a good wittle fascist pony. Here, have a carrot.

Bawahaha, 4 years is four years, no matter how you describe it. Figures you would side with another corrupt politician like Nixon. I bet you think Agnew was innocent, too.

As usual ... passing flatus out your face.

Do you mean ALL BOTH OF THEM ... President Richard Nixon made an address to the American public from the Oval Office on August 8, 1974 when he resigned ... thus endeth today's history lesson for you ... pity you NEVER learned that in school.

AND AS I SAID BEFORE ... THE DIMS KEPT ON RIDING THAT PONY

Any junior U.S. Attorney could

They go to great efforts to keep random US Attorneys from stepping on each others cases. Double jeopardy means that if one attorney jumps the gun, that could destroy the case. These are professionals, so they rarely make that mistake. It is a career ending mistake, and if there is any evidence that it was done to cover up a crime, could end in criminal charges.

Rhodes was smart enough to keep far away from the crime scene. He meticulously kept far away from the Capitol Building, realizing it would be illegal to enter the building. That makes it difficult to indict him; for those who do not know, difficult is the opposite of easy. What is needed is testimony of his co-conspirators, which will hopefully be secured as they face criminal charges.
