demonstrate "thou shalt not pass". 2:02: Other protestors repeat "he has a gun, he has a gun" - Pretty clear the gun is saying "don't you do it".
2:12: Window is now broken and Ashli is climbing in. (Note: After it's clear with the gun that "thou shalt not pass".

2:21: She's on the ground. Tactical officers show up and get the crowd to stop advancing... if not for the first shot with the tactical officers showing up, we'd have dead congress members.

Bullshit version. The officer on the far side of the door was armed. He could have ordered Babbitt to lie down, or otherwise issued verbal commands to a single, unarmed, person he was confronting. He could have controlled the situation without using deadly force. He chose instead to immediately escalate to deadly force in violation of his training.
A better view of that
Babbitt wasn't assaulting anyone and the simple act of entry was not sufficient to warrant deadly force. The officer acted irresponsibly and probably illegally in shooting her.
All easily solved if the Republicans would stop stonewalling an investigation. Where there any Republicans hiding behind the cops?

Because he used lethal force when he didn't have any justification to do so. She was unarmed and not an immediate threat to him, and he didn't even make an attempt to resolve the situation with less than lethal force. That's criminal use of force by law enforcement.
While the angry mob is about to break through. They are lucky only one got killed.
