Hiroshima, 6 August 1945

I think if he ran, so would Melania.

No one else has his ability and vision to return America to greatness and he has shown his commitment by being the only POTUS in recent times to have not enjoyed greater wealth as a result of serving the people.

He loves America.

And we want someone in charge who loves America as much as we love America and someone who has his courage and vision and ability.

He could have made a zillion more dollars by staying out of politics.

His life would have been far more pleasant.

His family would not have suffered the slings and arrows meant for him.

He does what he does for U.S.

Not to satisfy a need for power or lucre.

:eek2: What planet are you living on? By his own admission trump made more than $1.6 billion during his presidency.

Here's a link to all 79 pages of his financial disclosure dated February, 2021. https://www.citizensforethics.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Trump-Donald-J.-2021Termination-278.pdf

This is how the blast affected those in the area.

The bombs’ lethal impact can be divided into several phases:

  1. People who died immediately as the result of evisceration or collapsing buildings.
  2. People who walked considerable distances in the aftermath of the detonations before collapsing and dying.
  3. People who died, often in aid stations, in the first and second weeks after the detonations, often from burns and injuries sustained in the bombings.
  4. People who died (often years) later of radiation-induced cancers and other long-term complaints linked to the detonation.

Surviving isn't the same as living, if your life was damaged beyond repair because of the bombing.

That's no different than those who survived Dresden and the Tokyo fire bombings. It's also where the US realized the importance of strategic air power.

Notice the US had the opportunity to take out Moscow and didn't do it.

After experiencing some internet hiccups at this site that I have never known before, I will be leaving here for good. I hope you and whoever caused these anomalies enjoys your debates without me.

Good bye to those who wish me well and to all the rest, you go to hell.

I don't think they were enemies.

I just read about the Tokyo fire bombing, that it was the "single most destructive bombing raid in human history" leaving 100,000 civilians dead. IMO that was a war crime.

It's all a part of American Exceptionalism.

Only one great nation has ever nuked anybody, right?

No opinions from me.

It was just a very short time before my conception, so nobody asked my opinion.

I may have noticed that we didn't nuke any white Germans, though.

LOL. I don't have the technical knowledge to give you internet hiccups.

You are not alone in this. It's the SQL database server.

I meant to inform Damocles of that one. It has gotten really bad lately.

Multiple raids. It was war. The Japanese wouldn't surrender and the Army, Marines and Navy were trying to beat them into submission and change their minds.

IMO, a lot of Americans don't understand much Japanese culture today much less that of Imperial Japan. A key piece of evidence is the fact the Japanese kept their King. The US demands required unconditional surrender. McArthur learned/knew that it would become a guerrilla war if he took their king, so he settled for only taking Tojo's government.

To die was a honor to them.
