A mortal blow to Young Earth creationism

Pretty cool.

"“You can now look at the oldest sites and say, ‘We know they were there during the Last Glacial Maximum,’ so maybe some of these oldest sites are also reliable,” he said.

The term “Last Glacial Maximum” is how scientists refer to the height of the last ice age, about 20,000 to 26,000 years ago.

It has long been debated whether humans arrived in the Americas by a northern route from Siberia before or after the Last Glacial Maximum, when vast sheets of ice would have made migration along the Pacific Coast or through western Canada impossible.
"

The 'last ice age' is also a guess. So is any story about a land migration from Siberia (remember there was a huge ice sheet and glaciers in the way, according to the same sources!).

It is not obvious to me that the migration to North America had to be via land route.

Humans were capable of paddling ocean-going boats to Australia 60,000 years ago.

I wonder if it was possible for humans to paddle down the coast of north America, hop-scotching a coastal route until they reached lower latitudes.

More guesses.

Leif Erikson did it a thousand years ago. I don't see why another people couldn't have done likewise.

TBH, I find it difficult to believe that mankind has been around for 200,000 years and didn't develop boats capable of coastal travel until the last couple thousand years. That's a whole lot of time for the rise and fall of civilizations.

Who knows? Who cares? Perhaps some kind of sail was also available. Perhaps they could walk on water. Perhaps the whole date might be hooey.

Safe nukes is the answer.

That's an oxymoron. Here we are, at the perfect distance from our personal universal power station - good for billions of years yet- and we can't utilize it in a beneficial manner ? Any garden plant shows us up as stupid.

You can't move a container ship with solar.

Super cool!

Holy smoke, 21,000 years. I get the impression that the evidence for human migration to North America just keeps getting pushed deeper in time.
It gets better.

Mastodon bones place humans in America 130,000 years ago
BY DEBORAH SULLIVAN BRENNAN

He painstakingly studied samples across the bones, and came up with a date of 130,000 years old, plus or minus 9,400 years. Even at the lowest figure, it vastly extended the likely presence of humans in North America.

Scientists do not need your permission to make guesses, aka hypotheses.

Making educated guesses is part and parcel of the practice of science.

Quantum mechanics, black holes, string theory all started out as educated guesses. Gravitons and the string field remain educated guesses to this day.

Some paleoanthropologists are making an educated guess at a coastal marine migration into North America, as opposed to the traditional overland route migration hypothesis. They do not require your consent to engage in creative thinking and guesswork.

The US military is the biggest polluter by far. That will never change.

You're a fucking conspiracy theorist without fans but a headful of loose screws. There's a reason why you never post any facts to back up your delusional bullshit such as the WTC Bldg #7 Bush conspiracy claim.....or at least I hope you're a conspiracy theorist and not a Chinese cocksucker spreading lies for your commie handlers.

It does. They are busy rewriting the story of how they got here as well. The land bridge theory has been added to by sea-faring visitors who came to stay. Arlington Springs Man has helped push the latter theory to a leading one.

That's what it appears that they did. The problem we have now is most of the sites where they stayed are under the sea.

Dutch has deep problems, as I am sure you understand....because YOU R NOT A MORON.

Oh the delicious irony of a drunken stoner who can barely form an idea, saying someone else has problems. :rofl2:

Does your keeper know that you strayed away from KrazyKathysKuckooKlubhouse? Better get back there and post some more psychotalk!
