Oklahoma carried out first execution in six years...

Yeah, Trump was, but aren't most leaders the 'Authoritarian type'?
Well, I guess it wasn't rigged. Trump ain't president. You won. Now
it's Biden's game. Lets see how he plays it. I just hope he can figure
out what cards he has, or we're in big trouble.

:) I was for Bernie Sanders, so Biden isn't a 'win' for me.

I'm satisfied that Biden recognizes 'Climate Change' as a global threat, rather than Trump and his 'Chinese Hoax' position.

Yeah, they don't draw the crowds like they used to

IS there any question that society is slowly progressing? Painfully slowly liberalizing.

Death row would be more of a motivation.

I think Id rather death than true life in prison. Guess it depends on the conditions in the prison.

But to the criminally insane, I do not believe there is much to deter them. It would have to be swift and severe, and due to the possibility of error, that's not usually possible.

Well, what do you expect when a private American citizen can ride a fucking blue dildo into outer space and start poking holes in our Atmosphere? They're poking holes in our balloon, Jack If you're gonna bitch about Trump, at least butch about that too.

You have to tackle one problem at a time. In the next 20 years, billions of people are going to be driving cars. It's better that they DON'T emit exhaust. It's like the Biggest Bang for the Buck.

Oct 28 (Reuters) - Oklahoma on Thursday conducted its first execution in six years, putting John Grant to death after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned a stay of execution for him and another man, even as public support for the death penalty diminishes.

Grant, 60, died by lethal injection at 4:21 p.m. (2121 GMT), the state said.

His death marked the first in Oklahoma since three botched executions in 2014 and 2015, using a three-drug protocol that has been questioned as possibly causing a slow and painful death.

After Grant died on Thursday, his lawyer, Sarah Jernigan, said he had tried to atone and understand his actions "more than any other client I have worked with."

She said he was a victim of brutality both at home and at the hands of Oklahoma's youth detention system, and did not receive mental health treatment, ultimately murdering prison employee Gay Carter in 1998 while incarcerated for another crime.

The last-minute intervention from the U.S. Supreme Court overturned a stay of execution for Grant and Julius Jones, who is scheduled to be put to death on Nov. 18.

Whose fault was it for the botched executions? Asking for Alec.

So you're against space exploration?

I'm a strong believer that euthanasia is both more practical and more humane than long term incarceration.

Unfortunately, punitive lethal injection is not euthanasia, it's brutal execution.

All they have to do is what veterinarians do when they have to put down our sick pets.
Administer an anesthesia injection prior to the lethal injection.

It couldn't be more simple. Bur because America is steeped in antiquated traditions of biblical guilt and punishment,
we remain barbaric. How many national disgraces must we endure at once?
We're a fucked up country. Blue and Red MUST partition.

Where are the holes? I don't see them.

It's time to start executing pedophiles, and sex traffickers!

Good idea. Give them the option. That way they can show how truly sorry they are. ;)

Death is the easy way out. That's why almost every civic leader calls a murderer who kills then commits suicide a "coward". Duh. Who wants to go to fucking jail for life?
