Actually, it was this past summer when FL overtook NY. But, now it's winter, and the Empire State is roaring back. It always had a higher deaths/million ratio. Now it will grab the total deaths and total cases lead. Especially because all of the stupid asymptomatic New Yorkers are going to go out and get tested for Xi/Omicron variant. That's basically cheating, if you ask me.
