There are over 400,000,000 guns in this country. If guns scare you, stay in your basement or go live in Chicago where they have some of the toughest gun laws in the US.

Personally, I favor requiring all citizens to have to pass a citizenship exam prior to voting. Annually. California is setting a precedent here.

“Toughest gun laws” mean nothing when Indiana is only a twenty minute drive away, and I do live in one of those gun regulated States, and it has one of the lowest gun violence rates in the country.

I also in Chicago last summer, no problem, took in a Cubs game, Second City, and enjoyed several of the best restaurants in the country plus real deep dish pizza, all the frills your fear of other people prevents you from doing

I see the wisdom in the position, less access to guns less violence. We should so the same with obesity, less access to food less obesity. Where's the surgeon general on this?

How would they enforce this? How would they know if you own a firearm? What if someone who doesn't live in San Jose uses or brings a firearm there? This has every marking of a loser idea in court.

Your eating pizza at a cubs game sure makes the families of the 836 homicide victims in Chicago last year feel much better.

Question still remains under what conditions they made it a right, Scalia dumped the prefatory clause cause he was on a political mission, but regardless, fact remains, no Constitutional right is absolute, they all are, and have been, regulated
