Most won’t participate, ND has expressed no interest, and hard to believe any private school will go along, meaning you are going to wind up with a select group which will represent the college in name only

Is a point, but I doubt it, reason being that Trump never represented the same principles the GOP supposedly was based upon, and you can’t say the same for any Democrat candidate

Times do change though. Go back and look at some of Clinton's campaign ads in the early 90's. Some of that stuff you would not hear any Democrat promote today.

Aside from winning or losing, did you have any concerns about his ability to unite the country or his suitability to represent America to the world?

To make my own position clear, I would not under any circumstances support a person of his character to be president, regardless of his politics.

Because the Republican party is a hot mess but the Democratic party was corrupt by putting up Hillary. Even Bernie could have beat Trump. Not even the Republican leadership wanted Trump but the poorly educated insisted. Hillary bought her nomination and the Berniecrats hated her so they stayed home rather than vote.
