I almost bought a GT 500 before I pulled the trigger on the Cobra. One of the guys I met at a car show had one pushing over 1000 HP.That's insane! Lots of some really powerful Mustangs at the Ford at Carlisle here in PA. too. I even looked at an old Ford hot rod, Ford powered, of course. Lots of cleaning on an exposed and chromed engine.

The Cobra, with a normally aspirated 427 S/O, is more than enough. With a 90' wheelbase, stupidity in a Cobra can "bite" you in a hurry. They say, when you get into the cockpit of a Cobra, the dash tells you "I want to kill you."
