Iran War Watch

Somebody recently put up a thread "They have no idea what they are doing and yet they are highly confident".

This is a subject worth visiting.

X is blowing up....constant threats against Iran from the Imperial Empire, massive American military deployments, one Iranian military ship sunk, Iran goes to the UN complaining of aggression against it, and issues its own threats, all Iranian missile forces at full elert...

Buckle Up.
I'm ready.

I love the smell of dirty bombs in the morning.

I’m glad for any evidence that there won’t be a strike from the US on Iran, but the fact that it appears to be “postponed“ is troubling for a separate reason.Reportedly, the original attack was supposed to happen on 14 January, but the administration realized it didn’t have enough combat power to defend against and expected Iranian retaliation, so they waited until the Abraham Lincoln battle Group got on site. Now it appears that again they have recognized they don’t have enough combat power, and again have pushed the operation back. This gives evidence we are doing a terrible job at mission analysis at the national level. These kinds of issues should’ve been evident in the original concept phase, much less when combat power was actually being deployed abroad and actions being contemplated.

I am mystified by the dispute over how many aircraft carriers the Empire can come up with for this operation....USNI still says that America has only the Lincoln.

Long standing battle plans require three.
