Trump clears the Strait

We have plenty of leaders left, and your callous indifference to the ideals America purports to espouse has likely turned many more people against your country, which lacks a clear purpose and direction.

America is widely regarded as a decadent and weak-willed mongrel nation that is inept at beast and perfidious at worst.

I wonder if America actually still has a nuclear arsenal.

If we do, you'll not likely live long enough to register the fact. The blood of our martyrs cries aloud for vengeance.

Death to America! Death to Israel!

It's not just Hormuz. What share of global oil, LNG, wheat, rice, and fertilizer shipments transits the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait?"

The Bab el-Mandeb is the Southern access to the Red Sea and the Suez Canal, which gives access to the Mediterranean Sea.

Yemen's Armed Forces sit on the shores of the Bab el-Mandeb and in November 2023 began attacking Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea to show solidarity with Palestinians in the bombardment and besieged Gaza Strip.

The attacks caused a large reduction in ship traffic through the Red Sea – by more than 50%, according to some estimates – and companies saw costs and shipping times spike as vessels were rerouted around the Cape of Good Hope at the Southern tip of Africa.

According to the World Economic Forum, 12% of total global trade and 30% of the world’s container traffic transits the Suez Canal. Around 6% of the world’s seaborne-traded oil transits the Bab el-Mandeb, according to the US Energy Information Agency.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have officially joined the war against the US and Israel in support of Iran and the resistance front in Lebanon, Iraq and Palestine.

Yemen’s entry into the conflict may put the region’s oil exports and shipping at even greater risk.

The Strait of Hormuz has been effectively closed since the onset of war in late February. Yemen can threaten another critical chokepoint - the Bab al-Mandab Strait connecting the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean.
When was the last time the Yemeni's / Houthi fired an anti-ship missile at a passing ship? How many firings do they make per ship hit? How many ships as a percentage of the total transiting that strait have been hit?

In reality, the Houthi threat to close the strait into the Red Sea is as hollow and vapid a threat as Iran's to close Hormuz. It's all bullshit talk with no actual proof it can be done. All Iran can hope for is to manage to strike the occasional defenseless merchant ship and damage it while letting like the other 99% of ships sail through unscathed. Iran's threats are no more real than those of the Barbary Pirates of old.

Sent from his bunker deep under a girl's school where he hopes like hell that the US doesn't drop one of these on him

Please, that's hilarious. You're not looking for the truth. You're only looking for evidence that supports the narrative you've bought already. Your truth has been decided by others and you accept that because you think those people you look up to are smarter than you. (In many cases they are, but more often than you might believe, they're not at all.) Your entire existence is based on lies because believing and telling them is much easier than discovering and understanding the truth, and infinitely easier than telling yourself or others the truth.

I haven't ever seen you in search of the truth. I've never seen you accept the truth. I've never seen you tell us the truth.
And that's the truth.
If you're claiming the Straight is open you're lying shit-eater.

If they don't do as they are told he's going to end up making his posts on a stone tablet. Sure wont have any electricity. OR infrastructure for that matter.

Like I said,...I think this ends up with US shutting down the strait. Were the only ones who actually can anyway. That way, as I said before we can not only screw Iran out of any money but choke the chinks off too. Win win. As for Europe? Screw them too. They can buy FROM us and our newly acquired fields in Venezuela......;):)

We've lots of oil, lots of natural gas, lots of sun, and a nuclear plant.

Plenty of sympathizers all over the world, too, should America and Israel attempt to make good their threats.

One "dirty bomb" should cause the West to fold like a flimsy tent.

Pure fantasy. Many large consumers of petroleum products and nitrates would not want to bear the costs of bypassing our region.

And the West sanctioned Russia, so that's off the table.

How's that working out?
