He is lying about why he removed it. He claims he thought it was a picture of him as a "doctor", instead of apologizing for conflating himself with Jesus Christ.

No Pope has ever stayed out of politics when it came to commenting on the horrors of war and its up and down stream affects.

on what basis do you say he should stay out? What authority do you imagine you have to state that as something he 'should do'?

Popes, since the creation of the churches have been very involved in matters or war and peace and been used as negotiators and other to help and reach peace.

that you, some guy on the internet thinks 'nope they need to stay out' is about as worthless a single opinion as could be expressed. But you have every right to say it. just do not expect anyone to take as meaning anything.

ya i think @CBHype accepts what a stupid thing that was for him to say, even if just his opinion.


it would be as dumb as saying 'it is his opinion the pope should not comment on matters of poverty and social welfare and how countries should focus on helping their poor' as speaking to the political choices countries make about that stuff should not be something the church or a pope talks about.
