Democratic Socialist Demands Free Housing

Basic needs like food, clothing, shelter, education and healthcare ARE human rights...and in a country as wealthy as ours, should be guaranteed for EVERY individual.
And who is going to pay for all that? Who are you going to rob to give those things to the lazy, non-productive, and undeserving?

And who is going to pay for all that?

The money will come by not going to war to kill people so fucking often.

Who are you going to rob to give those things to the lazy, non-productive, and undeserving?
So...YOU want lazy, non-productive people working in the American production effort. YOU are willing to refuse to use MUCH MORE PRODUCTIVE machines, robots, computers, and AI (which will result in MUCH poorer productivity) so that lazy, non-productive people can have jobs.

If so...YOU really are fucked up.

TO ALL WHO READ MY RESPONSE IN MY POST #25 ABOVE...a question if I may:

Have you ever worked in an environment where someone taking up space and "doing a job" could (WOULD) increase productivity by just staying the fuck home?

(I certainly have...often. Many times it was the boss who fit that description. Other times it was a worker or two who were the lazy, non-productive types for whom T. A. (and others like him) want to save jobs...so that they can "earn a living."

Wouldn't those lazy, non-productive people contribute more positively by stay the hell out of the way? All we'd have to do is to feed, cloth, and house them...and they would be out of the way...and our productivity would increase substantially.

That isn't an answer, it's dodging the question. Where does the money come from to pay for this?

I don't want to create a society that coddles lazy, non-productive people. There are many ways to be productive beyond being some worker on an assembly line or a code monkey. AI won't take a vast number of jobs anytime in the near future either. For example, in the US there are millions jobs open in the trades.

AI isn't doing those jobs. They require people. The problem is, in the US, we've pushed the idea that you have to go to college and get a degree to get ahead. Well folks, many of those so-called college degree jobs are going away. AI is taking them over. But there's a need for electricians, welders, plumbers, and carpenters, among other trade jobs that often pay as well or better than being a code monkey with a tech degree does. We'd see far more productivity if we told those lazy fucks to get off their dead asses and work for a living or they don't eat.

Also, the same question remains: If we are just to feed, house, and clothe the non-productive, WHERE DOES THE MONEY TO DO THAT COME FROM?

Where does the money come for wars, like the unconstitutional war Trump is waging against Iran.
That's just changing how it's spent. That doesn't tell me where it came from. Aside from that, Trump's little foray against Iran is a proverbial drop in the bucket compared to the cost of any major social-welfare program already in existence. Those eat up about two-thirds of the federal budget. Expanding those programs will cost hundreds of billions more. Where does the money come from?

Again, why is money for war always 'free' but everything else is a cost?!

It isn't "free." Taxpayers cough up for that. My question is how are you going to pay for a new, huge, social-welfare program that is permanent? Wars come and go. Much of the cost of the Iran war Trump is waging is a sunk cost. We already operate say, a carrier or two in the Indian Ocean with their combat group escorts. That's a sunk cost, war or no war. We fly planes off those carriers daily in any case. Sunk cost.

So, the only costs of that war are ones we wouldn't already be incurring as part of normal War Department operations otherwise.

With money from illegal war with Iran, for starters.
The current war isn't "illegal." You might vehemently disagree with it, but it isn't illegal. The money being used for it, beyond normal operating costs of the military is really trivial compared to say what's paid out already a year in Medicaid / Medicare benefits for example. So, you are starting with a drop in a 5-gallon bucket of needed funding.

I must have missed it where gov newscum provided respectable housing for all those in his Skid Row state.
Particularly after spending $24 billion in the last five years on the homeless...

That's roughly $141,000 per homeless person. You'd think they could have bought them a cheap car and put them in a half decent apartment for that kind of money...
