Police sue to stop Trump paying those who attacked them

This isn't to defend anyone but rather a reasonable discussion on this.

Many of the Jan 6 protesters were held on relatively minor charges for months, and in some cases, over a year, without bail. Their jail time awaiting trial in some cases exceeded the maximum penalty for the charges they faced. Some were denied attorney access. Many were denied evidence, like video tapes, that could have exonerated them.

If some protester at that 3-hour riot did something criminal, fine, charge, try, and convict them. But don't deny them bail, don't deny them their right to legal counsel, and don't deny them all potential evidence for or against their charges.
Meanwhile democrats DA release illegals who rape and murder.

I say pay these people

Then they have the same right as any other citizen to sue the government for unlawful detention, but we don't create politically loaded taxpayer funding opportunities specifically for them and by doing so overlay the madness of Jan 6 with a guise of government wrongdoing.
The gobblement creates victims funds all the time. What are you talking about?

Pretensions always blow away.
I don't think it is going to be that easy cleaning up after Trump.
He has fucked up the country starting with the economy , but that is what Republicans do, they fuck it up then we elect a DEM who gets it back on track and hands a recovered economy back to a Republican and they fuck it up again.
It is a FACT that 13 out of the last 14 Recessions ( one under Bush was almost a depression ) were started under Republican Presidents.
YES Republican Presidents fuck up the economy and Dems fix it.
They also run up the debt, Reagan almost tripled it , Bush doubled it and ran us into a recession almost a depression then Obama had to get us back on track and had to spend almost 8 Trillion doing it , and that was over 8 years, Trump comes in and runs it up about 8 Trillion and did that in only 4 years , then we elect him again and he has already added more then 2.7 Trillion and it has only been a little over a year now.
NO cleaning up the mess Trump has made isn't going to be easy and I pity who ever has to do it.

That is not an opinion on the issue, it is deflection, what is your opinion on what Government has done it in very, very different ways than has every been done in the past. Usually with Congressional legislation and funding, not a president in his personal capacity, suing the Government, his professional capacity.

Can you not see how the President, entrusted to protect taxpayers, approving a "settlement" for billions, then settling with HIMSELF in his PERSONAL capacity in a lawsuit a judge was going to dismiss. Pure abuse of the system and disloyal to the United States.

If I were president of APPLE, incharge of settlement decisions, would I be fired if I sued APPLE for billions in a bogus lawsuit, but before the judge could dismiss the case, I chose to settle with myself with the Shareholders money?

Or, justice for those who were unfairly targeted.

Then you should sue him. It isn't like he is used to it.

You mean the Capitol police who waved people in? Those Capitol police?

Well, it is nice to see some police officers you guys stick up for. That is something

You think the guys who beat cops and shit on the capital floor, while chanting death to the VP were unfairly targeted? To the tune of 1.8 Billion?

Are you okay with the way this was set up? Do you not believe it was an abuse of the legal system, do you believe its okay to bypass congress by having Donald Trump personally settle with the President (Donald Trump)?

Do you not understand that the money could all go to The Pedo Protector and we would never know about it?

Yeah, he may well leave a mess. Not questioning that.

Have you not seen videos of them crushing a capital police officer in a door while he was trying to keep them out? Did you not see the guy throw the fire extinguisher at the head of a cop?

Just because one or two cops did wrong, does not change anything, dumb shit.

What is your opinion on the 1.8 Billion?

If you want to know what I think go look at Archives thread

You simply have not offered an opinion. If I were wrong, you clearly are way to embarrassed to publish it here.

You are a liar.
Have you looked at Archives thread? I have offered my opinion on the topic many times. I have even told you where to go look. If you are too lazy to do so that is your problem. Or are you so self absorbed and narcissistic that you think I should jump at your every whim? Who exactly do you think you are?

Do you really think what you think of me has any bearing on my life whatsoever? Let me disabuse you of that notion. You are little more than a gnat who buzzes around my head.

I am enjoying how ashamed you are of your opinion, I did not know you were capable of shame.

Poor teflon, so ashamed he lies that he has provided an opinion.
