Point taken, but fewer and fewer blacks live in "the hood" these days.

More and more are living in apartment complexes or in neighborhoods of individual, single family dwellings also occupied by other ethnicities like whites, Hispanics, Asians etc.

And all those people walk around those neighborhoods carrying cash and valuables all the time without getting assaulted.

So, what it seems to get back to, is that the "hood" residents, who tend to be at the bottom of the ladder, are the ones to whom the problems are mostly confined, while the other blacks who live outside the hood and are higher up the ladder, tend to not create the problems in question.

But there is no denying that today, in the early 21st century, young black people have a very definite propensity for engaging in the kind of public misbehavior that is depicted in the OP.

It might not fit the left's narrative that blacks are innocent victims of whites who cannot be generalized about or who do not engage in patterns of negative or antisocial behavior and that to suggest that they do automatically makes one a racist... but reality is what reality is.

Lots of tragedy in his life, lost two fathers before he was 14. GREAT KID, two years away from an engineering degree at the University of Florida.

The question "which race does this" is the wrong frame entirely. The better questions are: What conditions produce this behavior? Concentrated poverty, institutional distrust, weakened social norms, economic desperation, crowd dynamics. Those are race-neutral mechanisms that produce race-correlated outcomes because of race-correlated circumstances — which is a completely different claim than "it's who they are."

More than enough time has passed for black people to understand the importance of education and to encourage it in their kids.

Every young person of every race has ample opportunities for a solid education in today's world.

Any lack of education black kids may suffer from, is due to their own lack of effort and dropping out of school.

People who blame poverty and discrimination are just making excuses that are no longer relevant.

Maybe in the 60's and 70's there might have been some truth to it, but not anymore.

Failure to achieve an education then go out and strive to do something positive with it is 100% up to each individual both black and white.

We all know MAGA affiliation is mostly due to a lack of education, but not as a result of poverty or discrimination. It's the same with these white redneck MAGA teens as it is with black teens... a failure to take school seriously or try to improve themselves and become better people.
