My guess is because they want to embarrass the moron Trump...to make him look like the fool he is to the world.
trump told us the nuclear program was 2 weeks from a nuclear weapon, so he bombed them. After the bombing he claimed they were 50 years from getting a nuclear weapon. Then 8 months later, he announced once again they were 2 weeks from a nuclear weapon, and needed to be bombed again. Apparently they had progressed 50 years in 8 months.
The reality is that trump is looking at war with Iran every couple of months until the end of time.
Ask Iran, or a supporter of Iran.
My question is why did trump let them get to this point? Obviously, you are not trump, but you definitely are a supporter of trump. How did this make sense?
Obama got a deal in place to keep them from getting to this point. trump threw away that deal promising to get a better deal immediately. The immediately part was very important, because any time without a deal would mean they would get the knowledge to refine to weapons grade.
IT IS 11 YEARS LATER, AND STILL NO DEAL!!! Right now no deal is possible. There is no way to get them to forget how to refine to weapons grade.
The only solution I see is to invade Iran and occupy it for 20 to 50 years. I do not think we should do that, but that is the only solution that trump has left us. Sometimes the solution is worse than just leaving the problem.
Democrats with a majority in Congress can begin investigations, and start court suits. We already know that trump is the most corrupt president America has ever had, but we would get solid evidence of this corruption. On top of that the court cases he has been avoiding start happening.
Beyond that, the majority decides what bills are even voted upon, and what hearings are heard. It is a big deal.

No, they couldn't. Taking the enrichment route is very costly and time consuming. Doing the obvious--which all already nuclear powers do--is manufacture plutonium. That means you can have a bomb in a few years.

The Iranians have been assholes to everybody in the region. They took over the job of supporting terrorism from Saddam Hussein, for example. Trump hasn't given them any new opportunities with the exception of them trying to become the arbiters of who can sail through the Strait of Hormuz.
They were doing what they are doing since Carter was President. Just because the MSM here in the US downplays or ignores what Iran is doing when a Democrat is in office makes little difference.
If I were in Trump's position on this, right now, we'd be flattening electrical distribution yards, blowing down every road and rail bridge in the county, smashing up every harbor, fishing boats and all, would have bombed all the major industry around Isfahan into rubble. I'd be looking to cripple their economy and military operations by ending their ability to produce and transport 'stuff' anywhere.
Keep doing that until they demand we negotiate and stop bombing them.

A) What Obama did do, was settle a decades-old financial dispute by paying Iran $1.7 billion (comprising a $400 million principal from a pre-1979 military trust fund and $1.3 billion in interest). It settled a 1970s military equipment dispute from before the Iranian Revolution. The deal that Trump fucked up is as follows.....
On January 16, 2016, the International Atomic Energy Agency verified that Iran has completed the necessary steps under the Iran deal that will ensure Iran's nuclear program is and remains exclusively peaceful.
Had Trump let this deal go through, He wouldn't be tearing up the country, dismantling global norms and running around justifying his mental breakdown while proclaiming that Iran must not have nukes...Obama had already fixed that shit until the maniac fucked it up, T. Iran uses its nuclear resources to give power to areas that are nothing but mountains upon mountains baron and dark. The best we will do when this thing comes to an end is to have the Strait of Hormuz open. IT WAS OPEN BEFORE THE WAR. And the situation with Iran's uranium refinement will not be as strong as it was before Trump threw out the agreement Obama had worked out with Iran.
Like most people, I fear Iran having nuclear weapons. I feal people like Trump being in charge of our stockpile every bit as much...and, in fact, probably more.
