Unless police have a warrant, the land owner (landlord) cannot just let police in to a rented dwelling

There are also cases where a warrant is NOT REQUIRED. I have already listed some of them. Go back and read it.

You quote it, but did you read it? Obviously not.

The discussion is not about a search, The seizure is the arrest itself. There is a warrant for that arrest, or there is reasonable cause for that arrest.
