The Flotus has shown she has little interest in the country or the presidency, because she's not a native. The problem is that she has neither the grace nor the intelligence to appreciate this gift that fell into her lap. She really burned her bridges with her terse response to the January 6 insurrection. Laura Bush was a teacher and when she became Flotus, she focused on education, literacy and women's health issues. I admired her and always said that I didn't hold it against her that she married that boob Dubya. Patricia Nixon was a high school teacher and her initiatives were volunteerism, improving the lives of disabled children, and overseeing the historical accuracy of the White House decor. Barbara Bush promoted literacy and gave support to those with AIDS, which was controversial at the time. Betty Ford promoted equal rights for women, raised awareness of breast cancer and advocated for treatment for substance abuse. Any problems with these republican women? I expect you admired that narcissistic and arrogant dimwit Nancy Reagan and her fortune-tellers; she at least had The Gaze.
Your opinion of her dissertation means nothing, and you haven't spent one second talking to her, so your opinion of her intellect is also worthless. You bitch about her because that's your standard response when it comes to liberal women. But god forbid we should criticize Princess Tanning Bed.

1. I refer to her as Jill, not Dr. or Mrs. Biden. 2. I absolutely despise trump, even more than I despised bush for getting us into the Iraq war. 3. Biden made his own decision about running for a 2nd term even if Jill had some influence. Just like reagan and Nancy.
4. I posted about the contributions of other republican First Ladies after T.A. stated he was cool with Melania's vacuous self-absorption. Jill hasn't been Flotus for two years, yet the two of you feel compelled to denigrate her intellect and education. I guess Damo's comment that "every accusation is a confession" applies here.

She didn't expect everyone to call her Doctor or some other special title. Nor did she make a big deal out of her background. Jill Biden did. Her doctorial dissertation is available to read. She's nothing special intellectually. That's my only point. She's in your face, so-to-speak, about how supposedly superior academically ("call me Doctor") she is to others when she's clearly not.
None of those you mention had such an arrogant attitude.
