I didn't see JPP marxists post about the democrat party autopsy re: Harris' loss to President Trump

Right, Harris was some unstoppable political juggernaut.

Except she had never won a national election, got vaporized in the 2020 primary before Iowa, and was then handed the nomination because Democrats decided “let the voters sort it out” was apparently too risky.

But sure, if only she had 110 days instead of 100, America would have witnessed the full power of the Harris campaign machine. Maybe by day 106 she would have discovered Pennsylvania.

Trump beat another weak opponent. Congratulations to him for clearing the lowest possible bar.

The useful lesson here is not that Harris was secretly great. It is that anointing candidates is stupid, skipping competitive primaries is stupid, and pretending party insiders know better than voters is how you end up learning the obvious the hard way.
No one said Harris was “secretly great,” rather given the small time available she did a bit better than one would have expected

And again the limited time available, primaries and a nominating Convention would have been impossible, had they attempted such they’d be lucky if they even had a candidate by Election Day

Ah yes, the impossible burden of democracy.

Apparently 100 days was too short to let voters have any meaningful say, but somehow plenty of time to declare “this is our candidate, please clap.”

And let’s not pretend she was thrown into some brutal gauntlet. Harris was coddled by a media class that clearly wanted her to succeed, just like Biden was coddled until the collapse became too obvious to hide. She was not exactly being grilled daily on competence, policy, the border, inflation, or why voters rejected her the last time she actually had to compete.

I’m not saying Harris was “secretly terrible.” I’m saying she was never a proven national candidate in the first place. She did not win a national election. She did not survive the 2020 primary. She was installed after the party spent months pretending everything was fine.

So no, the lesson is not “if only she had 110 days.” The lesson is that when a party anoints candidates, hides obvious problems until the last possible second, gets friendly media cover, and then calls the resulting panic a strategy, voters may not respond with gratitude.

Fact remains the time didn't allow, the Democrats would not have had a candidate

And Harris was not “anointed,” when Biden withdrew he released his elected delegates who then officially voted for Harris, they could have went in another direction, split their votes, but understanding the time element nominated Harris. There was no anointing

Trump was running for 2 years, about 700 days. Biden ran for a year, So yes, 100 days is a very short time in American politics.

You didn't expect much then! :rofl2:

You call Kamala a viable candidate?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Harris was 'anointed' by the Democrat party leaders. She won no primary election.

Wrong again, she secured the then uncommitted Biden delegates via a phone survey,
What 'phone survey'? She was 'anointed' by the Democrat party leaders. She won no primary.
did you think with ninety days remaining they were going to have a Convention?
She was 'anointed' at the party convention anchovies.
You are uninformed again
Nah. You are just trying to deny what happened again. How soon before you blame it all on Trump?

“Vice President Kamala Harris has enough Democratic Party delegate votes in a virtual roll call to earn the party's nomination when the roll call ends Monday. Convention delegates have been virtually voting by email or phone since 9 a.m. ET on Thursday in a virtual roll call set. They still have until 6 p.m. ET on Monday to cast their votes.” (https://abc7ny.com/post/dnc-virtual...-harris-nomination-is-how-will-work/15136830/)

Are you ever correct?

Yes, anchovies.

So...no primary, like I said. She wasn't eligible. Democrat leaders just 'anointed' her anyway.
