if the Israelis are not in the room and agreeing to any terms, then all deals will fail.
Israel has now, as clear as they can, given the US the middle finger stating clearly that they, and not the US will determine what actions take place in the region and they will not be held to anyone else agreements, and especially not the US made ones.
And since Israel may never agree to any peace terms for Lebanon, that may mean this war may well become another forever war, that Trump has got the US into and that some future Dem Potus will have to get America out of, while be criticized by magat types who will say the process of getting the US was not as good as it should have been, showing how magats completely miss the point and big picture, as always.

BREAKING: Iran says its negotiating delegation will not return to the Switzerland talks until Trump personally apologizes for his threats today and Israel fully withdraws from southern Lebanon, with Iran's delegation plane already repositioned to Zurich ready to fly back to Tehran, per Al-Mayadeen.This comes after Trump told Fox shortly before his Truth Social post that if Iran closes the Strait of Hormuz "you won't have a country" and "you won't even make it BACK to your f**king country," as a direct assassination threat against the Iranian delegation.

But given the behavior of President Trump today — while his own vice president was in the room with the other warring party, trying to negotiate an end to the conflict — I have to wonder if there’s a new category: “negative 3-D chess“?Credible reports in Washington suggest that on five occasions prior to the actual signing of this MOU last week, vice president Vance had negotiated a deal very similar to this one with Iran, only to have President Trump pull the rug out from under it before it went public. This time it appears that he pulled the rug WHILE his vice president was in the negotiating room.President Trump‘s erratic behavior is either gross negligence, evidence that his cognitive decline is more serious than even I thought, or he is playing some kind of wicked game, where he pretends to be seeking peace, only to be setting up more war later.At the moment it’s impossible to tell which it is, because evidence supports all three theories.Whatever time reveals as the truth, it is unethical and immoral to continue pretending to negotiate, only to be doing something else behind the scenes, sabotaging diplomacy to ensure it doesn’t result in a negotiated deal.I fear we are going to pay a dear price for this behavior before this is all over.

Trump is in DEEP trouble .Tansim News Agency says Iran is NOT reopening the Strait of Hormuz and they’re NOT coming back to Switzerland for any peace talks.Unless America does these three things.1. Trump must publicly apologize for threatening Iran. 2. America must force Israeli troops to get out of Lebanon completely. 3. Qatar must release the $6 billion in frozen Iranian assets immediately.
