Everyone understands that Socialism is not Communism, right?

Doesn't Capitalism require government for management?
Far less than in a Socialist or Communist state. After all, for starters, there is no massive social-welfare state to manage. Right now, in the US, that social-welfare state accounts for about 60% of all federal government spending.

And "Democratic Socialism" is neither of the above.

Democratic Socialism is simply Democracy with a left bent towards greater redistribution to the working class whereas the right bent of Democracy is towards all the money flowing up to corporations and oligarchs. They are mostly just plays on the tax regime and who benefits.
They have a platform these fools can read

I’ve posted it

Their cranium is far to thick and their brains seem to have an allergy to verifiable facts

Social security is a government enforced retirement system, managed and operated by the federal government. Absolutely not Capitalism, absolutely is Socialism.
That is what I said. It is also, hands down, one of the worst retirement programs in terms of ROI in existence in the US today.

And we tried that before

It gave us endless corporate grift and crashed economies

Time for your economic idiocy to meet the trash bin

The American people don’t agree with you

Republicans have tried to sabotage it for decades

Remember when Biden stood in front on congress and challenged the republicans to try to cut SS?

I need to find that speech
Doesn't change that it's one of the worst programs for ROI. You are far better off putting your money into a 401K, Roth, stocks, bonds, anything other than a government managed retirement fund. Even the federal Civil Service and military Thrift Savings Plan is invested in private instruments and managed by non-government firms because even the government knows they do a shit job of managing things.

This too is wrong. Communism is an economic system very similar to Socialism. However, because Communism is absolute, it requires a specific kind of government--dictatorship--in order to function. Socialism only requires a large, intrusive, government but not a dictatorship to work.
Socialism does not "require" a large intrusive government to work.

Native communities, prior to Columbus arrival existed in socialist structures where resources were freely shared across the entire communities with each person doing tasks according to their strengths. So it can exist fine without some big over arching gov't.

That said, all modern societies will have a big over arching govt, but so too will all modern varieties of Capitalism. We can say theoretically the big gov't is not necessary but BOTH will have it.

Under Trump we see what how his version of Capitalism is leading to some the biggest and most intrusive expansions of big gov't seeking to exert control in so many places never done prior. Many of those areas the far left will be eager to continue control of, if they get power.

Let me know so I can post it enough times for your cranium to let it into your brain?
Even if he did, he wouldn’t admit it, Trump told him 1+1=Zebra, so it does.

I answered your question. You just don't like the answer.
YOU DID NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION. YOU MERELY TOLD ME WHY YOU THOUGHT YOU SHOULD NOT.

ANSWER THE QUESTION IF YOU DARE. IT WILL MAKE YOU LOOK MORE THE FOOL, BUT YOU ALREADY LOOK THE FOOL, SO LOOKING MORE A FOOL IS NO BIG DEAL.

The United States will NEVER be a socialist country. All those who support such things would be long dead before it ever came to fruition. Just a fact as sure as the sun coming up each day.

He's an asshole. Every one asking that "what is the difference" question can easily look it up. They do not need one of us telling them.

Nobody that I know is asking for it to become a socialist country. People like you manufacture monsters to fight, because you know you can beat them. After all, they are merely figments of your imagination. And with the intellect of the typical MAGA moron...all you people have is shit for brains.

Study up!

Socialism is an economic system, not a form of government. It describes who owns and controls the means of production (collectively or by the state, rather than privately), while “form of government” describes how political power is organized — democracy, monarchy, dictatorship, and so on. - Claud AI

You have no idea how stupid you sound to an educated person.
Jarod, you are patting yourself on the back for agreeing with what TA stated. Stop exaggerating your "education". Dunce.
