Everyone understands that Socialism is not Communism, right?

Nobody that I know is asking for it to become a socialist country. People like you manufacture monsters to fight, because you know you can beat them. After all, they are merely figments of your imagination. And with the intellect of the typical MAGA moron...all you people have is shit for brains.
Wonderful Frank. Who cares..... But the point is......The United States will NEVER be a Socialist country. Those who wish to see it will never see it come to fruition. FACT.

Okay, I think that is a good guess. In fact, I will agree that your guess is the best guess that can be made on the issue.

But no one here that I know of is advocating for that...and certainly not I. In fact, I have not heard a substantial call for us becoming a socialist nation anywhere in the country.

I do want to see the ever rising capitalistic wealth disparity (wealth disparity happens in socialist societies also) curbed. I doubt that will ever happen reasonably in a capitalistic economy running the way ours currently is...and I doubt it will ever happen reasonably with a capitalistic economy curbed by adoption of some socialist methods.

THE ONLY WAY I SEE IT BEING DEALT WITH REASONABLY IS by having EVERYONE in our society guaranteed "sufficient"...and then let the excess of what is needed to insure sufficient for everyone be amassed the way it is now.

Even that may not work, but SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE.

Those Communists are crazy.... no one wants them in power... they're only voting for them to be anti-Trump and Republican... I mean look at New York... that sure isn't working out for them the man can't even sit at his desk properly...🤣Screenshot_20260704_134951_Facebook.jpg

Key Differences between communism and Socialism.

Under communism, the people are compensated or provided for based on their needs. In a pure communist society, the government provides most or all food, clothing, housing, and other necessities based on what it considers to be the needs of the people. Socialism is based on the premise that people will be compensated based on their level of individual contribution to the economy. Effort and innovation are thus rewarded under socialism.

YOU DID NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION. YOU MERELY TOLD ME WHY YOU THOUGHT YOU SHOULD NOT.

ANSWER THE QUESTION IF YOU DARE. IT WILL MAKE YOU LOOK MORE THE FOOL, BUT YOU ALREADY LOOK THE FOOL, SO LOOKING MORE A FOOL IS NO BIG DEAL.
Terry's mind is deteriorating. Dementia victims often trigger over a small range of topics then repeatedly harp over them using the same arguments. He might also have serious health ailments like mesothelioma or cardiovascular issues which would exacerbate his cognitive issues.

I expect he'll be dead by his early 70s.

If you don't know, you could look it up.

MAGAts aren't big on the three R's.

Since every single JPP MAGAt has indications of cognitive and/or mental issues, it fits that you can always tell a MAGAt but you can't tell him much.

The Magatards have been programed to hate a word that they just don't understand, being as uneducated as they are.
It's why Trump likes the poorly educated. Ignorance breeds fear and the fearful are easily manipulated.

The cure for fear is education. A friend of mine freaked out at the sight of a snake, including the little 8 inch garter snake one of my cats drug into the house, played with but didn't kill. I grabbed it behind the head, watched it wrap itself around my wrist then showed her the "racing stripes" indicating a garter snake. Nothing to fear. They also eat bugs. I took it outside and placed it in a heavily vegetated area the cats were unlikely to find it...and also full of bugs. LOL

The United States will NEVER be a socialist country. All those who support such things would be long dead before it ever came to fruition. Just a fact as sure as the sun coming up each day.
The Supreme Court has made that potential more in reach than ever before.

with all the gutting of Congress power, and that power pushed to the POTUS, the SC is all-in on trying to make sure republicans always control the POTUS via extreme gerrymandering and more money in politics. The danger they have created is if they suffer a Viktor Orbán type loss and the Dem party has a full on Populist with a left/right coalition, that same power is what will allow that POTUS to move incredibly quick to institute their dream list of socialist policy.

It is a dangerous game the Supreme Court is playing which requires that Dems never take that power they are amassing in the POTUS.

Congress can change this by passing laws instead of consistently punting to the WH to rule by EO or to activist judges in SCOTUS.

For days now, The Sleepy PP, has tried to equate the two, you do know they are not the same thing, right?
Oh really?

Read "The Social Contract" (Rousseau, 1762) , the founding papers of socialism, and "The Communist Manifesto" (Marx, Engells) ,, the founding papers of communism, and specify any MAJOR differences between the two.

You will have to do something magats hate and just read it...

Socialism does not look to have no government, nor exclude private property or currency. Socialism does focus on aggressive redistribution and an aggressive Nanny State which communism would not tolerate.

Naw..........the real Americans will just string up the socialists in the public squares and that will be that.

1. The Means of Production

Socialism: Major industries (like healthcare, energy, and transportation) are collectively owned and managed by the state or the public, while individuals can still own private property, homes, and small businesses.

Communism: All private property and means of production are eliminated. Everything is owned by the community as a whole, and resources are distributed by a central authority based strictly on individual need.

2. Compensation and Wealth

Socialism: Citizens are compensated based on their individual contributions and the level of effort they put into the economy.

Communism: Governed by the principle: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs," compensation is not based on individual output but on what a person requires to survive and thrive.

3. Political Transition and Strategy

Socialism: Socialism operates on a flexible, often democratic framework. Socialists believe in achieving economic equality through gradual reform, high taxation on the wealthy, and robust social welfare programs (such as the Nordic model).

Communism: Communists believe that a violent, working-class revolution is necessary to overthrow capitalism. The ultimate goal is the dismantling of the state apparatus entirely, resulting in a completely classless, stateless society.
