How does socialism differ from communism? Be specific and detailed.
He won't answer without dodging (for obvious reasons to become apparent in a moment); so I will.
Socialism is an economic system where wealth is 'shared' (by force). It is a redistribution of wealth by confiscating from those who have, to those who have not.
In other words, all socialism is based on theft of wealth.
There are three major forms:
Fascism, which is government control of markets, allows private ownership, but the government tells you who you must hire, who you must fire, what you are allowed to manufacture, your hours of conducting business, etc.
Communism, which is government ownership of markets. Private ownership now becomes government ownership. It is confiscation of wealth to give directly to the 'poor', with the government taking a hefty percentage off the top, and the 'poor' often not receiving anything.
Slavery, which is ownership of labor.
Because people don't like their wealth being stolen, governments and government agencies implementing socialism are typically oligarchies and dictatorships. Thus, with socialism comes oppression and tyranny.
Communism is just one form of socialism.
This is the difference.
While socialism in its various forms exist in every nation (including the United States), where most of it is illegal.
He won't answer because he is a socialist.
