If present day MAGATs had been around during the Civil War era, they would have supported the South. If they had been around during the Great Depression, they (like LIndbergh) would have been against FDR's creation of social security, supported Hitler and the Nazis and American isolationism. If they had been adults during the 1960s' civil rights marches/riots, the anti-war protests, women's lib, etc., they would have been against all of those things. Oh, and against Johnson's War on Poverty and creation of Medicare and Nixon's signing of the bill that created the EPA.
Every great leap forward this nation has taken has had Republikkkans trying to block it.
