Everyone understands that Socialism is not Communism, right?

Oh! Muh Soshalism!
Holy fuck, you're a total retard. Have you ever worked a day in your life?
Lobbying is bribery and should be outlawed.
AHAHAHA. You are so stupid you read my post and thought it supported lobbying. OMG you are stupid. :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:

Nope.

Gasoline taxes, car tabs, and property taxes pay for roads. That means the users of the roads are paying for the roads. The roads themselves are built by capitalists. They are maintained by capitalists.

Right nearby is a solids materials plant. They sell all kinds of stone, concrete, and asphalt to build and maintain roads.
They also recycle old concrete into gravel and wood stumps and debris into Beauty bark (topsoil mulch).

They provide the trucks to move it as well, every one of which is also built by capitalists.

All the heavy equipment is build by capitalists. Every part they use to be maintained is built by capitalists. The projects themselves are private contractors (capitalists). Even the lane striping and turtles are done by capitalists. Capitalists also made the paint and the turtles. They made the cement used for the concrete. They made the aslphatum used to make road asphalt.

A city, county, or State may have bought it, but the capitalists provided the product.
You are missing the defining and principle difference here:

Roads, defense, and other such 'public works' are for the good of everyone, not a select few. What Socialism does is use government to take from all to give to one, or a few. Socialism does not work for the good of everyone but, instead, is selective about who receives what usually on the basis of "fair and equal" outcomes with unfair and unequal opportunities.

It stands the idea behind the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution on its head.

What you say above is garbage as you are saying 'stealing tax payer money (forced taxation) is good if spent on the priorities Terry agrees with (Forever wars, Corporations, Oligarchs, etc) but is bad if spent on the things Terry disagrees with.

In fact what Terry is calling for stands the idea behind the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution on its head, as taxation is taken from the masses and given to the new kings (corporations and Oligarchs).

This is projection on your part. (Slippery slope fallacy).

You are making the argument for how Socialism works. Everyone gets robbed (aka taxed), and a few benefit be it kings and oligarchs or the stupid and lazy.

While not a direct quote, the concept stems from Marxist-Leninist theory. Vladimir Lenin famously wrote, "The goal of socialism is communism," describing socialism as a transitional phase in which the state controls production, eventually withering away into the stateless, classless society of communism.

Terry's entire argument is empty words he DECLARES as if having meaning and being true but which apply equally to his arguments, which i show.

Here are the FACTS, Terry ignores.

- If Bernie, as a Democratic Socialist had control of gov't and its priorities via a democratic vote the only real thing that would change would not be CURRENT mass amounts of tax payer money taking in by the gov't but simply how they are allocated.

- Terry says 'as long as that spending is 'military, oligarchs, Corporations, etc' that is proper and fair and democracy

_ Terry says 'if Bernie shifts to infrastructure and programs for Middle class and below' that is wrong and anti democracy and against the Constitution.

What Terry is trying to establish is HE AND HE ALONE can determine which priorities the gov't can spend tax payer money on and he HAS NOT and WILL NOT offer any thing more substantial than that.

If thru the Democratic voting process Bernie's form of democratic socialism is chosen and the voters want the money re-prioritized that way, it is not wrong, anti democracy or against the Constitution simply because 'Terry would not do it that way', and what you will NOT see is Terry try to distinguish why ' Current priorities (spending on Military, Oligarchs, Corporations, etc) are ok' and why 'shifting those priorities to focus on MC' is not ok.

He will ONLY make declarative statements which apply equally to his arguments while throwing out the fallacy terms he misuses and does not understand, all the time.

Idk man, FDOT is pretty good and it's a state thing.
They get it done and it lasts.
They built 41 in 3 years. Rated for 83 mph.
Then you have all these counties doing things along the interstates with projects that never end because it's really a big grift.
Sounds like some of those county projects along I95 and I75 that seem to last forever.
Yeah. We've got a couple of 'em too, here in Seattle. They involve I90, I405, and I5.
At the I90/i405 interchange, they do nothing about two lanes on the right (one SB ramp and one NB ramp) that plugs up in the SB (inner) lane. I call it 'The Wall'. They did it again on the SR520/I405 interchange.

The Wall causes a LOT of accidents. NONE of the projects are even attempting to deal with The Wall.
SB i405 traffic is waiting for a traffic light some 10 miles away (Petrovisky Road). That traffic backs up all the way to North of Bellevue.

South of I90, i405 is torn to hell. It's a dangerous road to travel, and unsafe during rain (it rains a lot here!).

WSDOT is pretty incompetent here.

Oh, the never ending work? It's installing concrete walls, walling off the scenery from the freeway.

No, I don't believe I'm missing anything.
Roads, defense, and other such 'public works' are for the good of everyone, not a select few.
Never said otherwise.
What Socialism does is use government to take from all to give to one, or a few.
This is communism, a form of socialism.
Socialism does not work for the good of everyone but, instead, is selective about who receives what usually on the basis of "fair and equal" outcomes with unfair and unequal opportunities.
This is fascism, a form of socialism.
It stands the idea behind the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution on its head.
Quite right.

Terry's entire argument is empty words he DECLARES as if having meaning and being true but which apply equally to his arguments, which i show.
There are no empty words in his arguments. Try English. It works better.
Here are the FACTS, Terry ignores.

- If Bernie, as a Democratic Socialist had control of gov't and its priorities via a democratic vote the only real thing that would change would not be CURRENT mass amounts of tax payer money taking in by the gov't but simply how they are allocated.
Bernie wants to raise taxes even more, Kewpie.
He also wants to take property away from their owners and give it to the 'poor' (with himself taking a hefty cut off the top).
- Terry says 'as long as that spending is 'military, oligarchs, Corporations, etc' that is proper and fair and democracy
I never saw him say any such thing.
The United States was never a democracy, Kewpie.
Spending is not a form of government.
_ Terry says 'if Bernie shifts to infrastructure and programs for Middle class and below' that is wrong and anti democracy and against the Constitution.
It does violate the Constitution, which forbids such confiscation.
The United States was never a democracy, Kewpie.
What Terry is trying to establish is HE AND HE ALONE can determine which priorities the gov't can spend tax payer money on and he HAS NOT and WILL NOT offer any thing more substantial than that.
The priorities of what the government can spend taxes on is specified in the Constitution you despise, Kewpie.
Democrats don't want a voting process. They routinely commit election fraud to try to eliminate it.
The United States was never a democracy, Kewpie.
Go learn what 'oligarch' means.

He will ONLY make declarative statements which apply equally to his arguments while throwing out the fallacy terms he misuses and does not understand, all the time.
The fallacies are YOURS, Kewpie. You can't blame them on anybody else.

Please keep your homoerotic sexual fantasies to yourself.
You're the one who brought-up your sexual fantasies, and not me bringing up mine; I just tried to direct you in the right direction so that you can resolve you your issues.

No, I don't believe I'm missing anything.

I suggest you ask one of your imaginary friends.
This is communism, a form of socialism.

Communism is more virulent. In Socialism the government taxes you and says "Pay or else." In Communism, the government takes what you have at the end of the barrel of a gun and says, "We will give you some stuff soon..."
This is fascism, a form of socialism.

In Fascism, the government taxes you heavily and if you don't pay, you disappear. The government tells others, "Don't ask questions because you might get the same answer..."
