Archaeology of the New Testament

I've never referenced a sky daddy in a white robe. That is a caricature you've been trained by by militant atheism to use.
There is no such thing as 'militant atheism'.
You just referenced his Sky Daddy. YOU created the 'white robe'.
I've never written anything that confirms to your cartoon of an old guy in a white robe and sandals who lives in the clouds.
Most people on the planet, including most scientists on the planet believe in some type of god or higher power. Are you just smarter and better than everyone else?
He doesn't refer to an age for his Sky Daddy. YOU created an age, the white robe, and sandals.
Why would one need sandals living in the clouds?
Mathematics is a form of pure logic. We know that the scaffolding of the universe is based on mathematical relationships. If that's not rational and lawful, nothing is.
Mathematics is not logic.
Mathematics is not a relationship. It has no brothers, sisters, mother, or father.
Logic is not mathematics.
Buzzwords are not a division.
Buzzwords are not a law.
The Universe is not a scaffold.
The Universe is not mathematics.
The Universe is not logic.
The Universe is not a division.

The Universe is unorganized.
Your belief that the universe is unorganized, random, arbitrary contradicts 500 years of physics, and stands in direct opposition to history's most famous physicists.
The Universe is not physics.
The Universe does not conflict with physics.
The Universe is not sentient.

The Universe is unorganized.
The Universe is a perfect randR generator.

In fact, I maintain you don't actually believe the universe is random and unorganized. You are just reticent to reflect on the question of how an ordered and lawful universe can spring into existence from an inanimate, irrational cause.
The Universe is not a law.
The Universe is not ordered.
The Universe is not sentient.
The Universe is not a cause.
The Universe has no known origin.
The Universe has no known boundary.

The Universe is unorganized.
You have never answered it, except to make subjective complaints about wisdom teeth or knee joints, or whatever. Wisdom teeth and knees constitute essentially zero percent of the total matter and energy in the universe, so you can't point to them as fundamental properties of a lawful cosmos.
Maybe his teeth hurt.
Maybe he wrecked his knee somehow and it hurts.

The Universe is not fundamentalism.
The Universe is not a religion.
The Universe is not a law.
The Universe is not energy.

The Universe is unorganized.

Wrong.
The name 'Satan' has five letters. You also correctly capitalized it, since Satan is being use as a proper noun.
The name 'lucifer' has seven letters. You also incorrectly left is lower case, despite that it is used as a proper noun.

The Bible uses both names to refer to the same entity.
It also associates them with 'devil'. 'dragon', and 'serpent'; as Satan took these forms at one time or another.
Michael is 7 latters ,and Melchizedek is 11 but they both are Tecumseh AKA Panther Passing Over the Sky

You really want this to be a debate about whether there is a magical guy in a white robe floating in the clouds.

I'll make that a quick debate by saying I don't believe in that.

You don't need any special experimental equipment, you don't need a PhD in physics, you don't need any math to answer a very simple question of logic:

Could inanimate and irrational causes be the most reasonable explanation for a mathematically rational and lawful universe?
Or not?

Could you please not keep dodging and just answer this very simple question?
"Magical guy in a white robe" ,could be considered flippant to YHWH?

Given sufficient information you can predict the past or future position, momentum, velocity of any matter in the universe.
The universe doesn't care that its random distribution, as well as the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, prevent you from ever having sufficient information to predict anything of major importance in the universe.

The fact that we can use mathematics that we devise to develop tests of randomness, all of which the universe passes by the way, clearly shows beyond any doubt that the universe is a random dust cloud.
FTFY.

In fact, it is one of the great mysteries of the universe that human-invented mathematics so accurately predict and reflect the cosmos.
Congratulations, this is the stupidest comment I have read this week.

Of course if you personally map out a trail, you are going to find that the trail is "so accurately" mapped.

I've got you tacitly acknowledging that you totally agree with my position and that you are embarrassed for challenging me.
FTFY.

@Into the Night, what is the word for someone who is DESPERATE to convince himself that his religion is thettled thienth? I recall there being a technical term for that.

Wrong.

Clothing doesn't matter.

Clothing doesn't matter.

It has absolutely nothing to do with being better or worse and everything to do with evidence and intellectual honesty.

Again, when you remove the God of the Gaps aspect, it all comes down to evidence.

Either there is sufficient evidence to believe in gods or there's not. You are creating reasons to believe in gods.
I think the evidence is sufficient to point to a rational universe being caused by some type of rational agency or organizing principle.

It's fine if you want to believe a mathematically rational, lawful universe somehow came into existence by irrational and inanimate causes. Because that's what being an atheist requires you to believe.
You are filling in gaps in what we can explain with god(s).
You're wildly mistaken about this.

Science does not explain everything but the 'gaps'. God of the gaps is a superficial expression atheists invented as a faith-based belief system.
Science does not fundamentally explain anything. Science describes.

the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, prevent you from ever having sufficient information to predict anything!
All the Heisenberg uncertainty principle says is that you can either accurately predict position or momentum of subatomic particles, but not both at the same time. I already had to correct you about this 200 posts ago.

Congratulations, this is the stupidest comment I have read this week!

Of course if you personally map out a trail, you are going to find that the trail is "so accurately" mapped.
Your education was obviously based on rote memorization, and it never occurred to you to be curious about the deeper questions lying underneath the brute factoids you were taught to memorize.

Gravity and electricity throughout the universe were obeying an inverse square mathematical relationship billions of years before homo sapiens existed. The mystery here is why the math humans invented so perfectly reflect an underlying mathematical harmony that has existed in the cosmos for billions of years.

I think the evidence is sufficient to point to a rational universe being caused by some type of rational agency or organizing principle.
Mindless chanting of buzzwords is not evidence. It is mindless chanting.

The Universe is not a division.
The Universe is not sentient.

The Universe is unorganized.

An atheist does not require anyone to believe anything. Go learn what 'atheist' means.

The Universe is not mathematics.
The Universe is not a division.
The Universe is not a law.
The Universe is not sentient.

The Universe is unorganized.

You're wildly mistaken about this.

Science does not explain everything but the 'gaps'.
The Universe is not science.
The Universe is not a religion.
God of the gaps is a superficial expression atheists invented as a faith-based belief system.
No such expression was created by atheists.
ZenMode is not an atheist.
Atheism is not a religion.
Science does not fundamentally explain anything. Science describes.
Science is a set of falsifiable theories.
A theory is an explanatory argument.
Even a nonscientific theory is an explanatory argument.

All the Heisenberg uncertainty principle says is that you can either accurately predict position or momentum of subatomic particles, but not both at the same time. I already had to correct you about this 200 posts ago.
Redefinition fallacy. False dichotomy fallacy. That is not Heisenberg's law.

The Heisenberg law states that the more you know a particle's momentum, the less you know about the particle's position, and vice versa.
It is not one or the other. It is a combination.

Heisenberg's Law:
deltaX * deltaP >= hBar
Where deltaX is uncertainty (or change) of position,
deltaP is uncertainty of momentum,
and hBar is a natural constant (reduced Planck's constant).

Since all particles have both momentum and some position as a combination, IBDaMann is correct. It shows you can't predict anything about that particle.

The Universe is not a particle.
The Universe is unorganized.
