Iran War Watch

I have no information on this claim that Chinese gear has failed to perform in Iran.....not a single member of my information network has repeated the claim.
 
I am remembering maybe 8 years ago hearing Petraeus say "Chinese gear is fine, but it will take them 30 years to learn how to use it...we are fine for now".

He was wrong of course.

Well of course they haven't. They like those checks they receive from the Chicoms and want to keep getting them. :) All anyone really has to do is look at the condition of the Iranian Military today and you can quite clearly see who's hardware failed woefully and who's did not.

What do you think you "clearly see" that showed Iranian "hardware failed woefully"?

I am not denying that. I have no information or opinion on that. I am just curious what your conclusion is based on?


Is it simply 'the US was able to bomb and beat them in conventional war'? As that does not prove the "hardware failed" as opposed to it proves "US dominance".

An example i can cite of "hardware failure" is what Russia suffered in the opening salvo of the Ukraine war where a lot of their equipment simply broke down on the road to the Kiev capture due to poor maintenance grift and corruption.

Anyway share what you know?

Did not happen......the problem was that the Russian military had not been used much over a lot of years......there were too many officers who did not know about combat and were poor at it......they were found and replaced rapidly......with Putin spending a lot of time on the project.

No military in history has hit US forces with the efficacy and precision of Iran's armed forces (notable historic exception: Vietnam's heroic Vietcong). Americans don't even know what it means to take on a proper military. And they are being destroyed (if we only knew how many US soldiers already collapsed mentally). Every position in West Asia known, every base targeted, every installation surveilled. Iran fights like a modern superpower with the spirit of a holy, native Islamic military. What a crazy spectacle. And they are still using only a small part of their capabilities. The escalation ladder has many, many steps to climb. We are witnessing the grandest and most epic battle since the Red Army vanquished the Nazis in WW2

Iran has shown an INCREDIBLE amount of restraint throughout this war. They’ve shown very clearly that they can hit targets in other countries, including ones heavily protected by American military equipment, but yet… have largely refrained from taking the crippling actions they are capable of.

That can change in a second.

Just FYI this "poorly prepared war" resulted in:
  1. the deaths of ayatollahs, multiple generals and admirals, an entire navy, 80% of an air force, 80% of a country's radar systems, all of a country's nuclear refining capabilities, a country's ballistic missile factories, most of their ballistic missiles and launchers, and thousands of other valuable military targets on one side
  2. a handful of soldiers and a few airplanes on the other side
Tell me which one of those countries was poorly prepared for this war, genius.... Was it the side whose leader is on TV every day and banging a supermodel every night, or the side whose leader is represented by a cardboard cutout whle he's in hiding?


The fact that left4rds are saying the war was "poorly prepared" tells you everything that you need to know about them.

Yes, that liberals understand that this was pure stupidity on DonOld’s part, that war is costly and once you’re in, it’s hard to get out.
Liberals have always understood far better than conservatives that war is hell and the cost is high. We’ve already lost 13 soldiers, that is a lot of damage in my opinion.

Throughout the U.S./Iran War, many people have been consistently right about how this would play out. Not because they’re smart… but because they’re not STUPID.Almost everything in this conflict has been entirely straightforward. Iran has responded exactly how they should, they have been pragmatic in their demands, and they have counter escalated in ways in which people consistently predicted.And now… the choice from President Trump to return to war is, quite predictably, going terribly. Iran is striking American bases at will, they are striking Kuwaiti water desalination, oil, and power plants, and the Iranian people… quite predictably, are not rising up.Nothing in this conflict is particularly complex. There is merely a cesspool of ideological extremists parading around as “experts”, spewing their narratives and propaganda to muddy the waters for the common observer.

Certainly far more than 13 US forces are dead.....Contractors and CIA secret army are not counted at all, and US military deaths are undercounted.
 
Iran, using Chinese and/or Russian intel, said before the latest round of Empire terrorism that substantially more than 100 US forces have been killed.
