It’s getting closer, in about a week….

Biden was under no compunction to carry that out, and it was totally on Biden that he moved up and rushed the schedule. Afghanistan is Biden's fuck up. He owns in.

It is you that is passing blame here.

Auto Pen was too stupid, and yes, Biden is and has always been stupid--I will give him credit for luck and being able to get into and stay in office however. That stupidity led to the disaster in the Afghanistan withdrawal. Auto Pen has always been a fuck up.
Yes and that was the trap.

had Biden not stayed on Trumps poorly set out plan and instead decided to stay longer to execute better and that spooked the Taliban making them think he would not leave and honor the Trump deal, and then they attacked US troops or based, you same magats would be here saying 'for fuck sakes, Trump negotiated the entire deal and all Biden had to do was stick to it and he could not even do that'.

Fact is there is typically no clear way out of these wars Republicans love to start as Trump is learning right now in Iran. Fact is you magats do not criticize the Right for starting them but you sure are critical of the left who have to get the US out.

Those are what we call "war crimes", just in case you didn't know.
Actually, you are completely wrong. Destruction of industry used for war production is allowed. Destruction of transportation systems that can be used by an enemy military is allowed.

So, Auto Pen chose to make things far worse and that's what we got.

He got America out which no POTUS, including Trump had done prior and that was way worse. America would not be better of if Biden did what Trump did and just pushed down the road with delays and then gave it over to Trump again.

Auto Pen did it as disastrously as the US retreat from Vietnam and the fall of Saigon. In doing so, he fucked Afghanistan, particularly the women there.

Afghanistan turned into a clusterfuck because of Biden, who has a history of being a total fuckup on foreign policy that went back decades.
trump surrendered to the Taliban without even letting the Afg. govt. a seat at the table. He let thousands of terrorists out of Afg. prisons, and begged them not to attack the reduced military forces that he created.
But do tell us about Biden.

Reactions: QP!
I think that first question is something Trump has failed to answer and that is a big problem here. If regime change is the goal, then far more pressure is needed on Iran to bring that about. If it is ridding Iran of nuclear weapons development, that's probably going to take a full-scale invasion and is likely unachievable. Opening the Strait fully requires regime change. Anything less and the ayatollahs will just try again.
So you admit what is happening now is a mistake?

No. I'd need to know what the original goal clearly was. If it was wiping out Iran's nuclear program, then a full-scale invasion of the country would be necessary and that isn't happening. So, if that is the case, yes, Trump made a mistake.

Don’t forget Iraq!
Iraq was a choice, but in my view, a necessary one. Saddam was easily the biggest supporter of Islamic terrorism there was at the time. Without removing him, Al Queda would likely have moved operations to Iraq from Afghanistan.

By sticking to Trumps plan.
It was Trump who negotiated with the terrorist Taliban while shutting out the US ally, Afghan gov't.

Read that again and try to comprehend that.

You have an ally gov't you have been fighting with and dying with against an enemy for so many administrations.

Trump then comes in and allies with the terrorist enemy and abandons the ally not even including the in the US surrender talks creating a disastrous situation where the entire gov't and it military collapse instantly and in a very predictable way based on trump stupidity.

So Trump sets this entire country up to collapse and it did , and you magats blame the guy he passed the toxic ball to who actually got America out.

So what goal would justify this mess?

YES he did all you have to do is read the agreement he signed with them, He gave then EVERYTHING they had been fighting for for 20 years.
And it may say technical difficulty, just punch on it and the agreement will come up.
And another thing Trump not only gave them everything they wanted he also told them he would help them get a standing among other nations , recolonized at the UN and would help them financially.
Trump is a treasonous low life POS,

He didn't stick to Trump's plan. He ordered an immediate pull out instead.

Incorrect. Biden stuck largely to the Trump timeline but delayed the actual withdrawal part within that Timeline due to some of the logistical issues created by the Trump plan being so tight.

Trump's plan (Doha Agreement)

On February 29, 2020, the Trump administration signed the Doha Agreement with the Taliban. Key provisions included:

  • All U.S. troops would leave Afghanistan by May 1, 2021.
  • The Taliban agreed not to attack U.S. forces.
  • The Taliban also agreed to prevent terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda from using Afghanistan to threaten the U.S.
  • The Afghan government (which the U.S. supported) was not a party to the agreement.
  • The agreement also called for the release of approximately 5,000 Taliban prisoners, which ultimately occurred.

By the time Trump left office:

  • U.S. troop levels had already fallen from roughly 13,000 to about 2,500.

What Biden changed

When Biden entered office in January 2021, he reviewed the agreement.

Rather than meeting the May 1 deadline, he announced:

  • withdrawal would begin on May 1, but
  • would finish by September 11, 2021 (later accelerated slightly to August 31).

Biden extended the deadline by roughly four months.

Why did Biden delay it?

Biden gave several reasons:

  • logistical concerns about safely withdrawing troops,
  • coordinating with NATO allies,
  • needing additional time for the withdrawal itself,
  • reviewing the agreement he had inherited.

Did Trump intend the withdrawal to happen exactly the same way?

We can't know with certainty.

Trump repeatedly said he wanted to leave Afghanistan and even criticized Biden for delaying beyond May 1.

Bottom line

  • Was Biden following Trump's decision to withdraw? Yes.
  • Did Biden expedite Trump's timeline? No. He delayed it from May 1 to August 31, 2021.
  • Was the execution identical to Trump's plan? No. Biden's administration made key operational decisions about how the withdrawal would occur.

Civilian infrastructure is not.

It's a war crime.
Wrong. Civilian infrasturture usable for military purposes is fair game.

The presence of civilian use does not automatically make a target unlawful. What matters is whether the object effectively contributes to military operations.

So, stop listening to the Trump hating, TDS, Left and read the actual fucking laws here. If something can be used for military or war related purposes and likely is, it can be taken out.

Look kid, I can find news articles that say the opposite, and I can quote the letter of the law that says it's a war crime.
